5.00Aelaf was the best tour guide! He is very knowledgeable about the city and even greeted us with coffee when he picked us up! He let us spend as much time as we wanted at each stop and also let us dictate the stops. We wanted to shop and he took us to several places to do just that. I learned so much about this vibrant city. If you want to learn more about Addis Ababa I highly recommend booking this tour. You will have a great time with Aelaf!

A major highlight was the food tour: Michael brought us to experience the best local cuisine the city has to offer. His personal touch and genuine enthusiasm are unmatched. I highly recommend him!

5.00I’m on my way to Cape Town, but I had a 24-hour layover in Addis Ababa — and I’m so glad I did. I booked this tour last minute after landing around 8 a.m. with no plans, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. My tour guide, Joe, was incredible. Born and raised in Addis, he knows the city like the back of his hand. He gave us such a fun and informative experience — sharing Ethiopia’s rich history, culture, and daily life in such an engaging way. If you’re passing through and want to make the most of your time in Addis, I can’t recommend this tour enough. My favorite part was visiting a local Ethiopian restaurant, enjoying the food, and listening to live traditional music. Today was truly perfect.

5.00Aelaf provided a wonderful experience that gave a unique insight into the history and culture of the country. We visited the enthralling National Museum, a church, the markets, had lunch together in an authentic location and shared some local coffee near the old train station. I had a layover in Addis Ababa and didn't know where to start in terms of where to go and what to see, so decided to book a guided tour, which I'm so glad that I did. Aelaf was relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable and happy to tailor the trip based on personal preference. From not having any expectations, it turned out to be a day that I will always remember and I would recommend it to anybody.

5.00I am very glad to have done this tour with Aelaf. I arrived to Addis Ababa a bit late and some of the things were closed but Aelaf made sure to make the most of it for my tour and tailored to my needs. I will 100% recommend this tour to anyone who is doing a layover and wants to have a glimpse of the beauty of Ethiopia.
