Begin your quest of Bled with an impressive medieval castle that dates back to the 11th century. Standing proudly on a steep cliff 130 meters above the glacial lake you can enjoy mesmerizing views of the Julian Alps, the Church of the Assumption of Mary on the rock islet and the surrounding nature. Stroll next to the lake and enjoy more breathtaking vistas. We had a great day with our guide Danko. We liked that this trip allowed a good amount of personal time both in Ljubljana and lake Bled. Trip was very well organised and it was a group of only 9 people.

Very good, although it rained cats and dogs that day. Good view of the island from the castle. Trying to escape the rain, i went into one of the cafes and discovered the must try Bled cream cake. Totally yummy.

Tour guide Ronaldo was very informative and we learned a lot of information about both Croatia and Slovenia. He gave good suggestions for shopping and eating. What a beautiful city Ljubljana is! We also liked the excursion to Lake Bled and Bled Castle. The cream cake was delicious. Beautiful day!
