In Pltivice lakes we visit all of the Lower lakes and the highlights of the Upper lakes (approximately 8,5 kilometers/ 5 miles walk)

Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities
Please note: November 1st through March 31st, the panoramic vehicle and electric boats do not operate. Tour will be operated on foot during these periods.

Plitvice Lakes National Park
Continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest in Croatia. Follow your guide on a walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage listed park, which is famous for its 16 lakes connected by a series of waterfalls. Start your walking tour of the park with your expert guide that knows all the ins and outs. Get enchanted with the stunning nature that surrounds you while your guide shares interesting tidbits and leads you through the forest parts and board pathways on the lakes. Discover all the highlights of the park (both Lower and Upper lakes). Cap off your visit with a boat cruise across the largest lake and a panoramic vehicle ride, soaking up the breathtaking views and pure air. Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, depending on weather conditions, the panoramic vehicle and electric boats do not operate and only Lower Lakes can be visited. Tour will be operated on foot during these periods and tour last less then 4 hours.

5.00We booked the trip to the Plitvice Lakes through travel company Petros. We were picked up at the scheduled hour in Zagreb city center for a day trip of a little 11h. Our guide throughout the day was Petra, a passionate guide who tells a lot about kroatie,zagreb, the lakes,..... and a very pleasant voice to listen to. The Plitvice Lakes are.....breathtaking, don't really have words for it. We did a walk of about 7 kilometers through the park, all equally beautiful. One of the most beautiful things I have seen in my life, and this in combination with a perfectly arranged trip made the picture complete. Again a heartfelt thank you Petra Pedro and family😉😉

5.00We had a great experience touring Plitvice lakes! Our tour guide Tomislav was full of knowledge and made the trip enjoyable and memorable. Even though it was raining heavily, I still give the day a 10/10 and would fully recommend going on this tour!

5.00Tomislov was an amazing tour guide, he had so much to share with the group. Although the weather was very rainy when we went to the park and part of it was closed we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this tour and guide.

3.00Plitvice lakes is breathtaking, absolutely beautiful and the autumn colours were just magnificent. It is a must do. Our only disappointment was the pace of the trip, it was difficult to take inter wonderful surroundings as it was so fast paced. We would have preferred to have missed Rastoke, or spent less time there to increase the time in Plitvice. It also seems pointless to queue for the boat trip when we could have walked around the lake faster and not wasted time standing in a queue. Upon reflection we really wish we had done this trip independently and could allow time to take in the beauty of the national park at leisurely pace. The walk is not strenuous.

5.00The scenery of the park is beautiful!. It is about 8-9 kilometers walk, not recommended for people who have mobility issues. I travelled with my parents and they are in their 80s, our tour guide Dinko was very friendly and guided us to take the boat to pier 3, then walk back to our meeting point. Overall, it was a great experience.

5.00Rastoke village is a must see!! It’s in a fairytale setting. Plitvice Lakes are so beautiful. Our guide, Dinko, did a great job and was very kind to me as I had a sore ankle and could only manage the lower lakes. My husband did the upper lakes and thoroughly enjoyed it.

5.00Plitvice Lakes National Park is a crown jewel of Croatia. We are wowed by the stunning turquoise lakes and waterfalls with fall colors. The entire trip is arranged flawlessly and the guide is extremely attentive. Definitely recommend this tour.
