Our Lysefjord RIB-Safari will give you a front-row seat to one of the most famous Norwegian Fjords. Our experienced and sea-savvy Captains will take you right up close to some of the best sights the fjord has to offer, sharing stories and tales along the way. You’ll get to see Pulpit Rock, hidden caves, gargantuan waterfalls, and so much more.
Throughout the voyage, you’ll also be on the lookout for the bustling wildlife that inhabits the region. On a good day it will be possible to spot seals, porpoises, sea eagles, and more.
We only employ high-end top-of-the-line RIB Boats, ensuring you a ride that offers the highest degree of comfort, safety, and fun. Skimming the waters on a RIB is exhilarating, but not extreme in any sense. We maintain constant oversight and always make sure everyone onboard is having a good time.

Ready, set, go! The tour starts in the central Stavanger city harbor, where you’ll get your equipment for the tour along with a safety briefing from your captain. On your way out of the harbor, you will pass by Stavanger from the seaside, a true picture of Norwegian history. The speed starts out gentle, allowing you to take in a full view of the bustling life on the waterfront. Make sure to catch a glimpse of the old city, the Valgberg tower, and the Norwegian Oil Museum.
Hogsfjorden
Embark on your adventure to Lysefjorden as you move into the open waters and leave the city astern. Equipped with two four-stroke engines, you’ll skim across the surface at 35 knots, zooming past islets, skerries, and reefs. As you race along, you’ll spot cozy seaside cabins nestled along the shore and some sizeable salmon farms.

We will pick you up in Stavanger city, take you on a Lysefjord adventure, and then deliver you to Sandnes cruise terminal.

The whole boat to yourselves: Embark on a Lysefjord tour with your own chartered RIB. Up to 12 people can travel in the same boat.

Meet at the harbor: You’ll meet us right by the floating dock where we park our boats in the central Stavanger city harbor.
Cruiseship Pick-up
Pick-up at cruise terminal: Your captain will meet you at the cruise terminal and show you to your boat. Only avaliable for ships docking in Stavanger
Sandnes Cruise Port Pick-up
Pick-up at Sandnes Cruise Port: We will pick you up at Sandnes cruise terminal, take you on a Lysefjord adventure, and then deliver you to Stavanger city.

5.00Well organised fun activity for all the family. Easy to access immediately leaving the ship, very friendly and helpful staff. Great activity for a range of ages (our group was 7 - 60). Full 2 hour rib ride taking in some beautiful views with expert guidance. Very warm with full body suit, gloves and goggles. Be prepared for the ride though as it was bumpy at times and very exhilarating. Felt like I was galloping a horse across county so not for anyone wanting a sedate scenic cruise.

5.00It was a great experience. We were met at the cruise ship and had a short walk to the dock. We were outfitted with protective gear and away we went. It was a fun and bumpy ride. The scenery was amazing.

5.00It may seem long but it is worth every minute and every dollar. The drive in a comfortable sprinter, the ferry ride in fjords, the panoramic views. It captured what I have always pictured for Norway. Grand beauty, soaring mountains, beautiful water. Will never forget.

2.00Good equipment, boat etc. Fjords, waterfall scenery beautiful. Difficult to see when the guide is trying to make up time by going WAY too fast for the conditions which were choppy with strong winds. Was told put hand up if anything wrong, if I had done so I would of been flung out the boat! I have done rib rides before, its fast, bouncy, adrenaline rush etc, but this felt down right dangerous and ill judged by the captain. He was even happy for a child (about 8 ) go up front. Her feet couldn't touch the floor properly, she lasted 3 seconds and her Dad had to hand up. The captain should of known better. Do not recommend at all!

3.00Positives. Our ship was delayed but RIB Stravanger met us and ensured trip went ahead. Great protective gear (you won't get wet), very organized and gave good direction. Negatives. It was a bit boring! You ride at highspeed for some 40 mins, then make 3 brief stops (guide shares some info), before heading back (at speed). Mix it up a bit!! Share more local information! Yes, we all booked a thrill ride but there is plenty time for some variety and I don't think you delivered that

5.00Fantastic fun experience JIB ride, very easy to find when you get off cruise ship, well organised at getting you dressed in warm waterproof suits. The guide was great and he went faster and made it more fun as we had our two teenagers 12 and 16 with us and others on our boat. Highly recommend Great way to see Stravanger from the water.
