5.00So glad we did this food tour on the first day of a 4-day visit to Malaga. Jose our guide gave an excellent introduction and overview of local food and drink specialties. A bonus is that this particular tour included visits to La Guardia and Bodegas El Pimpi bar that are difficult to get into. He also gave us some useful recommendations of local restaurants that we followed up. Jose spoke perfect English and the whole experience of the food tour helped us to get the most out of our visit to Malaga.

5.00Rosario was our guide and probably the best guide we have ever had on a Viator tour. She is vivacious , friendly , accommodating, and gave us the history of Malaga and had little stories about everything we saw. All the stops were well chosen with a variety of different foods…..definitely should not eat before taking the tour !! Simply a wonderful day with a super guide.. M Sandra Helmer

5.00Our guide was friendly and great with our 11 year olds too. He was knowledgeable of Malaga history and culture, but was also able to compare to other regions in Spain.

5.00We had such a lovely time with Angela who had so much knowledge of the city and culture and the best local tapas spots! Many places w3 had not been despite living in Malaga for 2 years! We had so much fun and a great laugh with her and she very quickly became a part of our group ❤️ Would definitely recommend!

3.00The bars / restaurants chosen were a little too packed and touristy for my friends and I. The first bar's food offering was just a basic snack and we felt it took too long before we got any food at the second restaurant (El Pimpi) - we were really hungry at this point. The food there was fine, nothing special. I thought the staff weren't particularly helpful when dealing with an unexpected health situation with one of the group. Next place was take away dessert then onto the last restaurant where they had sold out of their speciality. All in all, disappointing. I think there are a lot better off the beaten track places we could have been brought to. If you've travelled any bit at all and experienced any level of decent food in places, this is just basic fodder. Jose was a nice guy but this tour needs an overall.
