Shoalwater Islands Marine Park
Heading South out of Perth along the Kwinana Freeway our first stop is at the fringing shores of the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park. Join a boat cruise and enjoy the views around Penguin and Seal Island. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spot a variety of marine life; such as wild dolphins, sea lions and little penguins. Birdlife is also in abundance such as migratory birds, pelicans and birds of prey too.
Our adventure continues to travel further along the coast of the Indian Ocean to the South-West corner of Western Australia, the Margaret River Region. En-route we stop for views across Geographe Bay and Busselton Jetty, the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s here that you can experience an optional craft beer tasting session if you choose. We’ll then continue to the heart of the Margaret River Region and visit a cellar door of one the region’s most well-known wineries.

5.00Great tour with an excellent driver/guide. Minivan almost new, very comfy and spacious. Tour included a great deal of sites and attractions, much more than advertised! Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience!

1.00Firstly, we would not recommend this particular tour to anyone!! It disappointed on a few fronts!! It was basically a very expensive and uncomfortable ride in a 10 seater bus!! i.e. $247.50 each!! The weather was not very good (not your fault) so - (1) We did NOT get to go on a boat cruise to Shoalwater Marine Park. (2) We did NOT get morning and afternoon snacks ,!! (3) When we got to Busselton we had 30 mins to have a coffee and toilet break and the tour operator disappeared !! (4) When we got to Margaret River the tour operator said he was going to buy us lunch and told us to go in a queue and choose what we wanted but by the time we got to be served he had not arrived so we paid for our own lunch and thought he would reimburse us!!!!! He never did. After that he disappeared and we didn't see him until he came to pick us up. We did get to go to a winery which was nice and we got to go to Canal Rocks but where we were parked we could not see the rock formations!! We felt for the other two tourists on our bus (who were from Singapore) as what would they think about the experience received from an Australian tour company after having nothing explained to them about the places we visited, no commentary or anything!! All in all because the weather was so bad you should have cancelled it and given us a refund! My husband said you were not organised at all and couldn't even organise a "piss up in a brewery".

We were the only two on the tour and our tour guide Mark customised an itinerary on the spot just for us when he found out we didn’t drink wine. We loved all the stops he took us too especially the chocolate at Margaret river chocolate co. We had a really good tour thanks to Mark

4.00This was a memorable day exploring the stunning Margaret River region. The marine cruise was a great way to start — seeing sea lions and dolphins up close was truly a highlight. The visit to a winery and the breathtaking Margaret River Mouth added great variety to the experience. One of the most unique moments was the Busselton Jetty train ride — a charming, old-style train journey that gave a nostalgic touch. Unfortunately, we were only given 10–15 minutes, which wasn’t enough to fully enjoy or explore the jetty. As tourists, we may not have the chance to visit again, so it felt a bit disappointing to miss out on the full experience. We also didn’t get to see any penguins, which we were really looking forward to. A slightly earlier start (around 6am-7am )could help ease the pace and allow more time at key attractions. Including a stop at the chocolate factory would also be a great addition. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, which made the trip enjoyable overall. With a few adjustments, this tour could easily go from good to exceptional.

5.00A great chance to see Margaret River, the wine country, and the far southwest of Australia with its dramatic coastline -- all in one day. The guide -- Glenn -- was terrific. He was knowledgeable, funny, flexible, and very thoughtful. He kept the needs of his guests in mind.

5.00A great day out starting with a boat cruise on Shoalwater Inslands Marine Park. Then on to Margaret River for lunch (own expense) and a short wander. Next stop a famous surfing beach. Then to Canal Rocks - a beautiful natural formation. A visit to a winery followed, then on to Busselton Jetty for a walk and a bite to eat before heading back to Perth

5.00What a stunning part of Australia! The marine cruise was a great start to the day, and it was surreal seeing sea lions and dolphins up close. The winery visit was a nice touch, and the Margaret River Mouth was beautiful. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the trip even better. Perfect for anyone wanting a mix of wildlife, scenery, and wine in one day.
