On this wine tour from Bordeaux, you’ll enjoy scenic drives through the Médoc wine region and taste some delicious French wines! During this half-day tour, visit two famous wineries – both are classified growth chateaux – with a wine guide, and enjoy wine tastings at both. On the picturesque journey between the wineries, you will pass by well-known chateaux such as Chateaux Margaux and Palmer. Return to Bordeaux.

Bordeaux might be famous for wine but a little effort would be nice.

My takeaway is that, because this is Bordeaux and they are famous for wine, they don’t try very hard. No information along the way or about the wineries. Zero customer service at the winery. The measure of a bad wine tour? Nobody on the tour bought a single bottle of wine. Give this one a miss.
Very informative wine tour to the Medoc

The half-day trip to the Margaux appellation was very informative. We visited 2 wineries, learned a lot of details about the different wines of the Medocs, the grape harvest, the fermentation and the ageing of the wine. We tasted some red wines at both wineries. Particularly noteworthy was the very nice care by Léa and the fact that the group size is limited to a maximum of 8 people.

Luigi was a wonderful guide and we had a lovely afternoon. Got to see two lovely wineries and taste some awesome wines. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Nice small group tour (8 people), comfortable minivan and not too long travelling. First stop was really interesting, a good vineyard with a great tour and good wine. Second vineyard was just a tasting but it was really good and we sat outside in a garden area.
Experience Wine making in Médoc-Margeaux, tasting too.

Our guide, Roldolphe, was very knowledgeable about the wine making process and business, and most of all, he entertained us thoroughly. It was mid-September and at the Pieuré Lichine winery, we saw the harvest in full swing, grapes being harvested, cleaned and sorted, and dropped into fermentation vats. This was part of an informative tour provided by the winery. This tour included almost every phase of the process. Then the tasting in a comfortable tasting room. Off to another winery for more tasting. During the whole trip Rodophe answered questions, made jokes, and played games. It was a very enjoyable tour, which we recommend highly.

Affordable wine tour. Good guide both on the bus and those at the vineyards. The price for the wines in the upper price range but good. The AC in the bus could have been better, but it was also a hot day, over 30 degrees.

We were looking for an overview of the region so we could head out on our own better prepared. We got that and humor and fun. It was a really nice afternoon.
