We offer an unique mokoro day tour as we always brief our clients a day before to make sure they understand and to wear necesary clothes .You will travel with our representative .Arriving at the mokoro station you will meet with the poolers of which one of them is your guide .We outsource this activity from the Community trust so that these people can earn a living .
Exploring the waterways in a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro) is highly recommended and a truly unique experience. Gliding silently through clear waters that have been purified by the waterlilies, reeds, papyrus and Kalahari sand that gives guests an unparalleled perspective of the abundant wonders.Sightseeing include hippos and elephants at a distance .
You will also do a nature walk and sometimes you can spot zebras , Giraffes and impala at a distance .Its a shared tour and minimum is 2 pax and maximum is 15 people .1 mokoro takes 2 people.

A trip by ‘Mokoro’ either a traditional/fiberglass dugout canoe is central for the tourists to experience in the delta. Our driver will pick you up where you will be accommodated at 07:30 am and transfer you to Mokoro Station. Arrive at mokoro station at 10am on an open 4WD Safari Vehicle where you will meet your local mokoro poler for a peaceful and relaxing mokoro journey taking in the sights and sounds of the Okavango Delta. This activity is conducted by local mokoro community guide who will take you through the water channels listening to bird’s calls. Bird life is quite spectacular; Hippos are also a usual sight. When you arrive you take a quick rest then depart for a nature walk on the Island where you might see some wild animals, for example Zebras and Elephant etc. We then have a stopover for lunch. From there we Poole back to the mokoro station where we find our vehicle waiting for us. We drive back to Maun where we arrive between 15.30pm and 16.30pm

5.00Shaba was our amazing guide for this day. It is a long journey from Maun. We were picked up around 5.15 from our B&B. Shaba provided us with ponchos we could use to keep us warm for the first leg of the trip. We arrived at the gate around 845. That was also a bit later than expected because we already spotted so many animals even before we reached South Gate. A part of the road is very bumpy and it made it quite tiring. We received a lovely breakfast at the gate and used the bathrooms. The rest of the day we drove around and admired the changing and beautiful nature of Moremi. Shaba was a great and safe driver. He was very patient with us and gave us many opportunities to stop and take pictures. He was very knowledgeable about animals, birds and the surroundings. It was an overwhelming experience to see so many beautiful animals. The park was not busy and Shaba choose a different route when we encountered another car. We had a delicious picnic lunch halfway. We were dropped off at our B&B in Maun at 19.00. A long and unforgettable experience at Moremi with Mosu!

5.00I was supposed to join a tour with 4 other people, but when it turned out that they wanted to return early, Mosu Safari very kindly provided me with my own driver and guide and I ended up having a private tour. It was a great day with a very knowledgeable guide. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mosu Safari Tours as a very organized company, that really delivers on their promises!

4.00Great day with helpful and informative quide, saw elephants hippos and giraffes. Peaceful ride on the canoes and saw lots of birds very knowledgeable guide, great lunch in the shade after a hot walk
