From the guest parking area, a free shuttle bus will take you to the village itself.Walk across the famous bridge and reach the main entrance to the village. Explore the site aided by an information booklet available at the ticketing office by the entrance and learn the fascinating history of the site.Take your time to wander through the narrow streets, browse local boutiques, and discover the heritage of this incredible place. At the top of the village, you will find the Gothic abbey built by monks dating back to the 10th century.

After a wonderful day, ride the shuttle back to the parking lot where our driver will meet you to transport you back to your location.

The Worst Tour I have Ever Been On.

I cannot begin to covey how awful this experience was. First, the tour guide was supposed to meet us at 8 am (ship docked at 7 am, we were odd and waiting by 7:30). He finally showed up at 9:20 and immediately announced that we probably wouldn't have time to see the abbey. Well, he certainly made sure of that by insisting that we stop for 45 minutes to get coffee that none of us wanted. So by the time we finally got to the Mont it was after noon. He then insisted we had to leave by 1 pm to get back before the ship left at 5 pm. When we objected, he told us we were welcome to take a taxi back, but he was leaving. So we left after less than an hour on the Mont. when I complained to Get Your Guide, they said he blamed it on the unusually heavy crowds. Yes, they were bad. But if we had gotten there at 10:30 rather than 12:15, they would have been less, and we would have had more time to deal with them. Then to add insult to injury he insisted on stopping at this liquor tasting stand, where he acted positively insulted when we didn't buy anything. That wasted another 45 minutes. So between the driver showing up late and the unnecessary stops he wasted almost 3 HOURS that could have been spent at Mont St Michel. I complained to Get Your Guide. They cancelled our booking retroactively and promise a full refund. It never came. I finally called, and after much back and forth, in spite of their promise of a full refund (which I had in writing) they final refunded half our money. I have used Get Your Guide in the past and was always happy with them, and recommended them to others, but this experience did rather sour me on them. And my advice is to stay far away from Normandy Tours.

Our driver Tibo had an excellent service attitude the whole time really outstanding .Our guide Anne Sophie has a lot of information and she has some visual aids so we could understand everything. Excelente timing for our cruise schedule worth every penny. excelente!!!!

Allen was very prompt, very friendly. We opted for driver only, and he was exceptional. We finished early and contacted him, he was there to pick us up within 15 minutes. Would highly recommend

Pick up was prompt and clearly defined. Safe driver. Adrien, our guide, was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Mont St Michel is a marvel worth the ride from Le Havre. Tip: Walk from the parking lot to the island. Go early to miss some of the crowds

We booked a tour for 8 persons, but the car come pick up saying the car is to pick up 2 persons. At the end, the local travel agent got a local taxi and took us to Mt St Michel. The taxi driver is extremely helpful. But we had a very terrible squeezed 2 and 1/2 hour journey to and from Mt St Michel.

Was exactly what we wanted. We docked at Le Havre and our ship did not offer an excursion so the 4 of us booked this. The driver was on time, car very comfortable and the trip smooth. We were dropped off right at the tram- no fuss! We decided not to have a guide because we enjoy the audio tapes and moving at our own pace. We finished early so the driver took us to a small town on the way home and we enjoyed exploring it for while. Would definitely do it this way again. (There were 4 adults so the cost was comparable to a shore excursion offered by ship- if they had one)

Great experience. We didn’t understand the Abbey is open the whole day and the time on the ticket is for the guided tour. The audio guides are great.
