Venture inside to discover a forest of columns and elegant double arches, and admire the ornate maqsuramihrab (apse) along with other decorative highlights. Be led by an official guide to build a full picture of this landmark building.
Your tour includes Tickets, audio guide and taxes.
Please review the dress considerations outlined in the cathedral's access policy. No tank tops, shorts or flip-flops may be worn indoors.

This Mosque is quite unique and there is so much history here, so taking a tour with a guide is a good idea.

I really enjoyed this tour! It was just over an hour long but provided enough history to keep you interested and to give you insight into how this mosque cathedral came about. A must see regardless of your religion.

We didn’t love the tour. The Islamic part of the Mezquita was beautiful as expected of Moorish architecture. Our guide spoke through an audio device and it was hard to hear her at times. She also seemed to jump back and forth in the timeline of the Moors and Spanish, making it confusing to follow. The Spanish-Catholic additions were a bit over the top and detracted from, more than enhanced the beauty of the Moor’s architecture. Some tour guides love their jobs and their enthusiasm translates but I thought our tour was lacking in presentation and organization of information.
