Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba
The Mosque of Córdoba was the biggest one in the world once all the extensions were concluded in the tenth century. More than 20,000 people could fit inside and it was declared World Heritage in 1984. All travelers who visited the Mosque were dazzled when they saw its beauty. You shouldn’t leave Córdoba without visiting its main touristic attraction! Its characteristic double arches and its impressive mihrab will leave you speechless. The monument houses multiple architectonical styles, which makes it unique in the world.

Every traveler visiting Córdoba shouldn’t leave without seeing the Jewish Quarter, one the symbols of the city. In this tour will talk of the history of the Jews, how they came to the Iberian Peninsula, called by them Sefarad, and how they reached very high status during the Caliphate of Córdoba. Know the story of impressive people that were born here like Maimónides, a genius of the twelve century. Visit the Synagogue and the Zoco, a traditional market. You will also get in touch with the Mudéjar style in the Chapel of Saint Bartholomew.

Our guide was truly excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and able to share the city’s history in a way that felt both accessible and memorable. The pacing of the tour was spot-on: enough depth to really appreciate each stop without ever feeling rushed. 5.00We had a brilliant walking tour in Córdoba. We visited the Mosque–Cathedral and then wandered through the beautiful Jewish Quarter. Our guide, James (or Jaimie), was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, kind, and so easy to be around. He explained every detail with passion and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this tour and this lovely guide!

5.00The tour starts at Mesquita followed by a brief break at a cafe. Followed by walk to the Jewish Quarter, the Caliph Baths & ends at the Garden of the Alcazar. Jaime our guide was incredible- the tour was perfectly paced, the pauses timely, the history & research impeccable & the witticisms quite apt. Jaime was also quite helpful with the food & cultural recommendations . Only issue if any was contacting the operator before the tour to confirm which was resolved by Viator support timely. Overall an incredible way to experience Cordoba especially as a primer/ if you're short on time like us. I was on my way from Madrid to Granada with a stopover at Cordoba for the day which turned out beautifully.

5.00This was a good tour. The highlight would be the mosque cathedral. It is stunning and Jamie our guide had much knowledge about it to share with the group. We then explored the Jewish quarter, ruins of the original Arab baths and the gardens of the Alcazar. It was a great tour but I do have some constructive feedback to offer. We were told not to use the bathrooms during our free time at the cathedral as we would be going somewhere next go get coffee and use the toilets. The only issue was that there was only one toilet for all 15+ of us, as well as other your groups ending or having a break at the same spot. The hammam was interesting. A good addition noting we finished 30mins early would be to go see some of the famous patios.

5.00This was a full 4 hour tour that included the Cathedral, the Gardens, the Jewish quarter and the Roman baths. Our job did an amazing job informing us of the complex history and how the mosque / cathedral expanded over time. Excellent tour and highly recommended.

5.00A very comprehensive tour of all of the major sights in the old city. Guide was very knowledgeable. Tour was approximately 4 hours with a quick coffee/bathroom break in between.

5.00A fabulous experience and Jaime really brought it to life with a skilful and knowledgeable commentary with amusing anecdotes as well as historical facts. We really felt the whole experience was value for money with the amount of information without feeling overloaded. We recommend this tour highly!
