5.00The tour and tour guide for the Cordoba Mosque and Jewish Quarter were excellent. Although it was a rainy day for the Jewish Quarter, it was well worth it. Our guide did an amazing job getting us through the neighborhood fairly dry under overhangs from the buildings. A not-to-miss experience and the expertise of the guide really enhanced the visit.

4.00Tour took over 2 hours with a little toilet break of 15 mins so be prepared for a lot of walking and standing and loads of information. Our guide Paloma was great

1.00Dreadful. There were too many people, too many tours running at the same time, and poor quality audio on the radio receivers. There were at least three separate tours in the small synagogue at the same time, each with their own narration. We didn’t hear that there would be a guide change midway through the tour and the new guide took off without us. We went to the tour office for help, but it was closed. Fortunately, we were able to catch up with the guide just as he was entering the Mosque, or we would have been shut out. Not a pleasant time.

5.00This tour was maybe my favorite experience of my visit to Spain so far. The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba is not to be missed. It is huge and beautiful in so many ways. I was impressed with our tour guide’s ability to share information in a clear, logical and thorough manner and corral 20 or so tourists through such a labyrinth of columns, sights, other guests and eras of history. He also led a nice tour through the Jewish Quarter and the surrounding sites. I loved learning about the Cordoba The Patio competition each year - as we visited a beautiful interior patio. I do wish, however that he would be more mindful of people wanting pictures. He has a strong tendency to stand right in front of the sight rather than off to one side.
