  The ride couldn’t have been more perfect. We went at 4pm which I highly recommend if it’s a warm day. The views are spectacular, on a clear day, and our guide Dixie is an absolute delight. I highly recommended the experience!

  I had a great time riding at Sunset Ranch. They paired me with a wonderful horse that fit my experienced riding level and I enjoyed a relaxing ride through the hills. There were lots of beginners on the ride, too, and I was very impressed with how well behaved all of the horses were - they made it an enjoyable experience even for those who were nervous at first. The horses definitely knew their jobs! If you're hesitant at all, or have never ridden, I promise you'll be fine! Book the ride and go have fun. :)

  Fantastic! My husband, my daughter and I did a 1-hour trail ride yesterday (a beautiful, sunny, warm Sunday in October) and it was on of our most memorable family experiences yet. Sunset Ranch is in a gorgeous neighborhood that is beautiful to drive through, and the ranch itself is quaint and full of horses and other farm animals. The staff and guides are wonderful. The horses are tame and patient and suitable for even absolute beginners. My only word of advice-- don't hold tightly to your reins! It is human instinct to pull or tightly hold the reins when a beginning horseback rider is scared/afraid, but this is counterproductive as it makes the horse anxious. Just be chill, hold on loosely, and get ready for a breathtaking view of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign that you could never see any other way. I am sure I'll be back with friends and family who are visiting LA in the future, as I would consider this a "must do" now that I've experienced it myself. Highly recommend! 10/10 A+++

  Don't take any chances!!!! Very dangerous this is not a pleasure hike it implies a real risk to your life!!! I hiked for an hour a lady behind me missed coming down a cliff and must have both hips broken. I am traumatized no comfort after experiencing this incident.No advice was given in case of fall or other. The worst fear of my life 😓

  I was travelling solo. Everyone is so friendly and the briefing on safety puts you at ease immediately. I absolutely loved this from beginning to end it’s the best thing I’ve done in LA by far, thank you!
