Start at Port Chalmers to experience the beauty of Dunedin on a fantastic 5 hour tour of rich heritage, spectacular scenery. You will experience gorgeous and memorable landscape of Otago Peninsula with amazing string of rugged beaches, bays and wildlife. Spend some free time at Royal Albatross Centre: this place offers the world's only mainland colony of Royal Albatross. Unfortunately our tour guide was uneducated about the history, nature, culture of the area we went. It was his first tour and he would be better as just a driver. Also this tour felt very rushed. We didn’t have time to do any exploring. We simply shuttled around the area with very mundane commentary and couldn’t wait for it to he over. The botanical gardens were pretty, but our time there was short and it would have been better self guided since our guide had no interesting information to share.

Alva was a great guide. Provided a enjoyable, relaxed and informative tour. We had no idea of the history and breadth of the city. The Northern Penisula was stunning. Thanks Alva

What a fantastic tour! From start to finish, everything was seamless, and Theresa was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge and passion for Dunedin really made the experience special—she was incredibly accommodating and made sure everyone felt welcome and informed throughout the journey. The stops were well-chosen, giving just enough time to snap a few photos and soak in the sights before moving on. It’s definitely a taster tour, but that’s exactly what I was looking for—a great way to see the highlights of Dunedin and the stunning Otago Peninsula. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re short on time but want a memorable glimpse of this beautiful region. Thanks again to Theresa for making it such an enjoyable day!

This tours runs for about 6 hours, so you have a fun-filled day! Our driver/guide was Teresa, and she is just great: a lot of knowledge and very lovely person. After some highlights in Dunedin we drove to the Peninsula to view the albatross colony. A bit windy and chilly when we got there but the most amazing view of the cliff. A recommended tour if you're visiting Dunedin for the day.

Teresa was a very knowledgeable guide with excellent driving skills. We packed a lot into the day - visiting the train station, the steepest street and the botanical gardens. However, 2 tours had to be joined together. Since we had to wait for other passengers to visit their tour destinations and the drive out to the peninsula was quite a distance away, we did not get enough time to spend at the Albatross Centre.

Really enjoyed it, weather want great but the guide was brilliant. Loved to steepest street in the world and the albatross centre, see some sea lions but sadly no albatrosses. Great day though

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, the towns quaint, and the fish and chips at the Albatross Center Cafe were even better than in England! Warren was very knowledgeable and informative. The only negative is that the seals and penguins were down the coast that particular day and it wasn't windy enough for the albatross' to be flying. We can't control Mother Nature.
