We will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech from 4:00 p.m. and embark on a fantastic minibus journey to the Agafay Desert.

After an hour of travel, we will enter the arid landscapes of the Atlas and arrive at the camp where we will spend a very special night. Once there, we will meet a set of haimas and they will welcome us with tea.

Then you can choose if you want to take a quad or camel ride(extra) through the Agafay dunes or if you prefer to stay in the camp to watch the sunset. Either way, you will enjoy the wonders of the desert.

Later, we will sit around a campfire to enjoy a dinner in the purest Moroccan style, consisting of salads, chicken tagine, vegetable couscous and dessert. And not only that, but the evening will be enlivened by a traditional show. Belly dancing, fire breathing, gnawa music….

This is a well organised excursion apart from the pickup which appeared a bit confusing but was sorted out quickly. You don't actually drive too far outside Marrakech into the desert and you can see the light glow from Marrakech at night on the far horizon. The camp is well organised with a number of options for quad bike and camel rides. They have two pools but you need to get a spot early as it gets crowded. The have a large central tent for the evening meal and the entertainment, both of which were very good. The breakfast was served in another tent and was a bit of a scrum initially but don't be put off; sit back and let the initial surge pass and there is still plenty to be had for all. They have a variety of levels of accommodation and we chose the top option which proved to be very comfortable and well worth the extra money. We had a good night's sleep and the shower in the morning was great. I can't say that it was the experience I was hoping for but the next option would have involved a much longer journey and been spread across three days rather than two, so this wasn't a bad compromise.

The stay was a bit basic than what's shown in the pictures but the overall experience was great. The views from the pool and the atv ride was amazing!! The dinner was extremely interactive and enjoyable with performances and communal dancing. You get what you pay for in such a small amount. Apart from the bad stay experience, everything was awesome!!

Really good experience! The place was very good value for money and the facilities exceeded our expectations and was really well decorated in the general areas. Pool could've been cleaner and food better, but we're very glad we did it!

Highlight of my trip to Marrakech! Lovely food and the night/show was great. Amazing views of the Atlas Mountains and surrounding desert! Don’t hesitate to book!
