5.00What an incredible day! I enjoyed every moment of this wine tour. Paul was not only a wealth of knowledge but fun, easygoing, and made everyone feel relaxed. The wineries he chose were perfect! Each one different, so we got a real variety of what the Swan Valley has to offer. The timing was just right too! Not rushed but also not too long to be exhausted by the end. I honestly couldn’t have enjoyed it more! I’ll be back with family and friends next time. Highly recommend!

5.00Paul is an excellent host, very friendly and informative bout the region. He takes a small group in a really comfortable mini van, and we got to visit 4 varied wineries, and try more than two dozen local wines! The wines themselves were very varied across the wineries, with a huge grape variety before even considering the blends. A great value trip that we highly recommend. If we come back to Perth we will be booking Paul for one of his other tours :-)

5.00With thanks to Shannon we had a lovely day out in the Swan Valley tasting wines from many vineyards we were unfamiliar with. With only 7 in the group it was very personal and every one was delightful. It was a great way to celebrate our 33rd Wedding Anniversary.

5.00Paul was a great host. He drew everyone into the conversation so by the end of the second winery we were all good friends. We had a great group of people and we had a lot of fun tasting wine and comparing notes. All 4 of the wineries were different but each one had good wine.

A small group tour is such a great way to enjoy the Swan Valley and meet other visitors, understand the history of the area, to learn about the variety of wines, hear about the wine making process and to meet some of the winemakers. 5.00Had an amazing day exploring Swan Valley's wineries! Shannon, our guide, was an absolute gem - friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. She happily answered all our questions and kept the mood light and fun throughout. We visited 4 fantastic vineyards, and the wines were so good that I couldn't resist buying a fortified wine bottle (I wasn't planning to, but no regrets!). Despite the hot summer weather, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The modern, air-conditioned van was a comfortable retreat between stops, with storage space in the back to store our wine purchases. Really appreciated the small group size - we never felt rushed and could take our time at each stop. The whole experience was well-organized and relaxed. Thanks to Shannon's excellent guidance and the perfect itinerary, this tour is definitely worth recommending to anyone looking to explore Swan Valley's wine scene!

5.00We went on a full day private Tour of Fremantle and The Swan Valley Perth Shannon from Up Close and Local did a fabulous job of putting together an itinerary that suited us. She collected us from our cruise terminal in Fremantle. She showed us the interesting and historic parts of Fremantle before heading out to the car museum we had requested to visit. The vehicle we travelled in was spacious up to date and air conditioned. We visited the splendid Australian war memorial in Perth we then went for really good lunch at one of the wineries. We can not speak highly enough of our day with Shannon and would highly recommend the tour with her knowledge and friendliness.
