These tiny organisms emit a bright blue-green light when disturbed, producing a captivating appearance in the water. The phenomenon is caused by chemical reactions within the plankton, which produce light as a by-product.

5.00Reading through the reviews for this tour I saw so many that said something to the effect of “stop searching, this is the tour you want”. They are absolutely true. Our tour guide, Sonny (Sunny?) was exceptional. Each stop on the tour was better than the last, and it was great meeting so many wonderful people! Sonny made it clear that seeing the bioluminescence is out of anyones control. It depends on the tide, water temperature, phase of the moon, etc. Our group was lucky enough to see some stunning white bioluminescence on our tour and it left me speechless. I will cherish these memories forever!

5.00A well organized tour. The tour operator had tailor made this new tour and it was a great experience. For the price; there were good amount of sights n activities included. I loved the way he regaled us with stories of each location. Included some fun activities like jumping off the boat! Trying to hold the bioluminescence in your hand or clothes was a lovely experience

5.00Excellent tour. Everything was perfect starting from information sharing, condition of the speed boat and boat staff. I would suggest to take this tour over phi phi islands tour if anyone wants to book only single tour.

5.00Amazing! The crowds were few, and the journey felt intimate. Teddy, our guide, spoke with clarity and warmth, painting a vivid picture of the adventure ahead. This was one of the finest tours on Viator—where we wandered through echoing caves, watched monkeys dance in the trees, and marveled at the ethereal glow of bioluminescence beneath the night sky.
