• Fantastic day at Pompeii, Hercalaneum and Winery

  Tony of Sorrento Limousine Service was the best. He communicated with us well in advance regarding tips on purchasing Pompeii tickets (even had a YouTube video he had prepared which made the process more seamless). He picked us up promptly at our apartment and took us to Pompeii and then Hercalaneum where he had local expert guides waiting for us. Since Mt. Vesuvius tickets were not available for the day we went, Tony was very helpful in arranging for a lunch and wine tasting at Cantania del Vesuvio with Mt. Vesuvius as our backdrop. It was magical. This turned out to be one of the highlights of the day and of our two weeks in Italy. Thank you, Tony, for a memorable trip.

  Timed to perfection we had a full day at a relaxed pace. The driver was very knowledgeable and courteous, we used our day to the full with options to suit us.

  Johnny our driver was amazing and gave us alot of information about the area as we drove to the different sites. He also took us to an amazing place to have lunch part way up Mt. Vesuvius. Our guide Francesco at pompeii and herculeim was so much fun. It was like going back in time. He kept our 16 and 18 year old engaged also.

  Tony took us on the day trip from Sorrento to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius yesterday. The day was fabulous. Having a guide at the archaeological sites helped us understand so much more about what we were seeing. The transportation was so comfortable and smooth and I'm really pleased we walked up Vesuvius - even though the teenagers were not enthusiastic 😉. Thank you Tony and Rosemary for a great day.

  The best tour of my two week visit to Italy. Pompeii and Herculaneum were amazing and my guide, Rosemary, was excellent. I was not able to get a ticket for Mt Vesuvius so Tony suggested a great winery for lunch and tasting. I can’t say enough great things about my tour.

  Having this service for a packed day of tours was the way to go. Never felt rushed and the driver and guide were exceptional. Communication was flawless and the whole day seemed effortless despite all we accomplished. The professional, friendly service made it one of our highlight.

  We started our journey climbing Mr Vesuvius. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes with a good tread. It is a bigger climb than l imagined but we made it to the top with spectacular views. The Herculaneum and Pompeii have been on my bucket list and was exciting to see in person. A guide and a driver are a must to navigate the trip. Daniel our driver was very entertaining and attentive to our needs. Rosemary, our guide for the Herculaneum and Pompeii, is a student in archaeology. She is so knowledgeable about both sites and how to navigate around the crowds. I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion and I highly recommend it.

  A great adventure into the past! Tony was extremely communicative & worked with us. As Floridians who had just gone through two hurricanes, I wasn’t as responsive as I could have been, Tony was fantastic. Johnny, our driver, was wonderful, enthusiastic & informative on the drive. He explained what we were seeing, as well as some of the history. An all around great guy! Rosemary, our guide, showed us Pompeii & the Herculaneum. She was great about avoiding bigger crowds to come back when there was less people. She was very knowledgeable about the topics. Finally, we didn’t want to go to the Vesuvius crater. So they arranged a wine tasting and lunch for us. If you like wine and want to try something different, this is a really nice option. The volcanic earth makes the wine unique and you eat between the shadow of the volcano and the beautiful sea and city. Great tour!
