Your experience begins early in the morning when you embark from the colorful city of Marrakech and travel through the breathtaking scenery of the High Atlas Mountains. As you wind across the Tizi n'Tichka pass, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic vistas of lush valleys and Berber towns. The first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, which has served as the setting for numerous great films. After touring this amazing kasbah, go to Ouarzazate, regarded as the "Gateway to the Sahara," to visit the Atlas Film Studios. From here, travel through the Valley of Roses, which is famous for its annual rose festival, before arriving at the stunning Dades Gorge. Spend the night at a rustic guesthouse nestled among the stunning cliffs and enjoy.

After breakfast, head to the stunning Todra Gorge, which features towering rock cliffs. Take a leisurely walk around the gorge and admire its natural beauty. Continue your journey over the shifting landscapes of the southeastern desert, passing by palm groves, Berber communities, and the occasional camel caravan. As you reach Merzouga, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear, signaling your arrival in the Sahara Desert. In Merzouga, you'll switch to camels and go on an incredible journey across the dunes to your desert campsite. Witness the breathtaking sunset over the sands before settling into your traditional Berber tent for the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the starry sky, surrounded by the sounds of traditional music around the campfire.
Merzouga desert - Ziz Valley - Ifrane - Fes

Rise early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, mount your camel for the ride back to Merzouga, where you'll rejoin your vehicle. Begin your journey northward, passing through the Ziz Valley with its verdant date palms. The landscape gradually changes as you enter the Middle Atlas Mountains, where cedar forests and cool breezes offer a refreshing contrast to the desert heat. Stop in the town of Midelt for lunch before continuing through the scenic landscapes, home to Barbary macaque monkeys. our last stop will be in Ifrane. As you descend from the mountains, the vibrant city of Fes comes into view. Your tour concludes with your arrival in Fes.

5.00I chose this agency and tour, as the price-quality of the camp/hotel seemed better than peers and the communication in English was transparent and smooth. I definitely recommend this private tour to families with children. Both of my children (10 and 5yo) really enjoyed a variety of places and experiences including camel ride and sand boarding in the desert.

5.00For our trip to Morocco with a group of 10 friends, we wanted to do something special, so we did a 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. And special it was. We had the best time with our tour guide Hassan and driver Ali. We were a group between the ages of 25 and 30, full of energy, which was managed by Hassan very well. He could easily make us laugh and educate us at the same time. Next to that, he was incredibly kind, flexible, and clearly experienced. He adapted the pace and vibe of the trip to fit our group perfectly — whether that meant answering a hundred questions, making extra photo stops, or finding the best spots for tea and snacks. The tour itself was absolutely stunning. From peaceful mountain villages and cedar forests (home to some very cheeky monkeys) to vast palm-filled valleys, dramatic gorges and eventually the golden dunes of the Sahara — the landscape shifted constantly, and every day felt like a new adventure. One moment we were watching monkeys swing through the trees, the next we were winding through rocky canyons or riding camels into the sunset. The contrasts were incredible: from cool mountain air to warm desert winds, from quiet villages to open, endless landscapes. It felt like we saw five different countries in just three days — all without ever leaving Morocco. One of the unexpected highlights was doing a quad tour in the desert. Racing over the dunes with the wind in your face and endless sand all around was pure joy — highly recommended if you want to add a little extra adventure to the trip. We felt safe, well taken care of, and constantly entertained. The van was comfortable, the accommodation exceeded expectations, and the food was amazing — especially the meals in the desert camp and the local restaurants along the way. We would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Morocco in a few days, especially if you have a group of friends and want a mix of adventure, nature, culture and fun. Thank you Hassan and Ali for making it unforgettable!

5.00Traveled from Fes to Marrakesh. Hassan our driver was amazing. They picked us up from the airport, organised local tour in Fes, then took us through the desert by car (which is very comfortable) and then Marrakesh before dropping us airport. The tour was organised from start to end. We saw so many amazing sights, with little fuss from our end to organise much. It was an amazing tour with some amazing photos. Hassan was a great driver and super helpful throughout the trip and with his local knowledge too!

5.00Ali was a valuable guide, nice, very polite and very good at driving the car! He also speaks Italian as if he had studied it for years! We saw wonderful places, slept in beautiful places and ate really well everywhere. I absolutely recommend this tour ❤️

5.00We had an amazing private tour from Marrakech via Merzouga to Fes. Our guide, Mustafa, was very knowledgeable and sensitive to our wants and needs. He tailored all the stops to our wishes, and came with different suggestions with zero pressure. He wasn’t afraid of some quiet time when we needed to disconnect and relax for a bit. The tent camp and the camel ride in Merzouga was a highlight. The camel guide helped us with blankets when a rain shower hit us at the end of the trip. We were surprised that the tents were almost like a house inside. Definitely highly recommending this tour for anyone wanting to go on an exotic adventure with the reassurance of a professional tour organizer.

5.00Mustafa took us on a private 3 day tour from Fes to Marrakech and it was the best decision of our whole trip! From pickup to dropoff the communication was excellent, and it was really relaxing to let someone else deal with all the logistics of the accommodation, desert trip and various restaurants. He always made sure we paid a fair price in shops and restaurants as well. We really appreciated the clean, new vehicle he arrived in, and his calm and safe driving. The selection of stops and activities was also great with the desert trip being a particular highlight. Highly recommend this trip with To Morocco Travel!

5.00We had an amazing time on this private tour! The itinerary was interesting, and we enjoyed having the flexibility to decide whether to stop or not during the journey. The car was spacious and comfortable, making the experience even better. We highly recommend choosing the luxury accommodations—while the price difference was minimal, the rooms were significantly better. They were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The food provided throughout the tour was also nice. Our guide and driver, Mohamed, was fantastic. He ensured our safety at all times, answered all our questions, and kept the trip fun and engaging. His professionalism truly elevated the entire experience. One important tip: if you’re traveling in winter, pack warm clothing. The desert gets extremely cold at night. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it!

5.00Our experience on this tour was outstanding, every major stop of interest was breathtaking from the desert, the Dedes valley and the Atlas mountains. But be prepared for a long time sitting in the car to see these incredible sites. Our driver, Hassan was informative and very safe. All want to plan and to the schedule. Highly recommended and good value for money. We would not have had the same experience if we had tried to do this on our own.
