I went on the birdwatching tour with Paulo and a few other guides. They had binoculars for rent, which was very helpful in observing the birds from afar. We saw many water birds, such as various ducks and egrets, the yellow-hooded blackbird, and even a scarlet ibis in flight! Paulo spoke English (a plus for foreigners!) and was very patient in guiding me to see these birds. It was hard for a novice birder like me to spot them in their environment, so a pair of trained eyes definitely helped. Furthermore, the tour opened my eyes as to how birdwatching works. The guides had a guidebook with pictures and information about various birds, which helped us distinguish between similar species. Whether you are new to birdwatching or just want to explore new birding sites, don’t hesitate to join TURCO’s tour. It was surely a fruitful experience.

It was the first time I participated in bird watching, I had no experience but fortunately there were more people in the group who did this for the first time. We did a proposition round and then we went out. I got a pair of binoculars from someone and some participants had brought a book with a description of all the birds in this region. I really liked it, because I suddenly saw birds that I would never have noticed before, and I was alerted to details that I would never have seen like a bird walking or hopping. Definitely recommended!
It came to more than 50 species of birds, butterflies, 4 species of monkeys, zocatas, spider monkey, shaker and nocturnal, and crabs

It is a beautiful place where it catches you in landscape, variety of birds and butterfly, gardens and harvest fruits, in the forest you can find 4 species of monkeys, and other species in the lake such as puppies or baths, the guides are very attentive and helpful.
