As part of our travel itinerary, we had planned a tour to Guatapé, which included climbing the Piedra del Peñol and a helicopter flight over the area. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations and ended up being quite disappointing. From the beginning, we were offered a price that was later increased once we arrived at the location, without a clear explanation. During the helicopter portion of the tour, we learned—only at the last moment—that not all passengers have a view of the Peñol Stone. Visibility depends entirely on where you're seated in the helicopter, a detail that was not communicated to us beforehand. In my case, due to my assigned seat and the restrictions on movement (understandably due to safety and seatbelt constraints), I was unable to see the rock formation at all—essentially paying for an experience I did not receive. I reached out to the staff to express my concern and request a refund or alternative solution, but received no support. Additionally, after voicing my dissatisfaction on social media, I was blocked and my comments were deleted, which I believe reflects poorly on their approach to customer service. It’s important for tour operators to disclose that only some passengers will have a clear view during the flight, so customers can make an informed decision before booking. _____________________________________________________________ Within the itinerary of our trip, we planned a tour to Guatapé, which included the climb to the Stone of the Peñol and a helicopter experience to fly over it. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations and ended up being disappointing. From the start, we were offered a price that was modified once we arrived at the place, without a clear explanation. Later, at the time of the flight, we discovered that not all passengers have visibility of the stone during the aerial tour, as this depends on the location inside the helicopter. This information was not previously disclosed. In my case, due to the assigned position and movement restrictions within the aircraft (for safety reasons and seat belt), I could not see the stone at all, which meant that I paid for an incomplete experience. I tried to communicate my disagreement with the staff to request a refund or at least a solution, but I did not receive any collaboration. In addition, when expressing my annoyance through social media, I was blocked and my comments were deleted, which I consider a bad practice regarding Customer Service. I think it would be important for these types of details — such as limited visibility from certain seats — to be clearly reported before hiring the Service, so that customers can make an informed decision.
