Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)

Our first stop is at Wat Traimit. Standing at the end of Yaowarat road, this temple is famous for the Buddha it houses, The Golden Buddha. This massive Buddha statue measuring 5.5 tons is made from solid gold since the 14th Century. It is so valuable that it has to be covered with a layer of plaster and concrete to hide its real value during the time of war

A fantastic tour of Bangkok and we were on boats trains foot and Tul Tuk . Rung our guide was amazing looked after us very well and her level of knowledge is incredible and could answer every question we had . Definitely worth the trip and look for Rung to guide you

Awesome tour and guide, Peter! Super knowledgeable on the history of the Temples. He was interesting and enthusiastic about his culture. He was always tentative making sure we were comfortable and well taken care off. Took awesome pictures for us too! We had a blast. Well worth doing the private tour!

Excellent trip. Picked at hotel on time. Our guide Peter was very informative, spoke excellent English. Private Van with driver for us. Nicely paced. No waiting Peter knew all the short cuts. Our Chanel ride was fabulous. Just the two of us and our guide in the long boat. If you are looking for a very personal tour that covers all the highlights in Bangkok this is the one !!!! Well worth the price

Everything was perfect - tour leader Araya was wonderful, driver great and most accommodating. Despite the oppressive heat our guides made us as comfortable as possible. Definitely recommend this tour.
