You’ll learn about the local fishing heritage, hear fascinating legends (like how Peggy’s Cove got its name), and see the quaint wooden homes and lobster traps that make this village so charming. Your guide will also point out the Swissair Flight 111 Memorial and share stories of local resilience, maritime culture, and the natural forces that have shaped this stunning landscape.
Mahone Bay

Amir was a great tour guide with lots of interesting facts and tidbits about each of the sites we visited. Ovens Park was beautiful, but we didn't have enough time to explore the whole park. We were able to walk the caves trail which was amazing and took us about 45 mins roundtrip. We then headed to Lunenburg and had a great lunch (we bought food from The Fish Shack and was able to enjoy it at The Half Shell Oysters next door - we ordered food there too) but would definitely opt for a quick bite instead of sitting down. Lunch took over an hour so we didn't get to explore the town. Mahone Bay was pretty but would skip if tight on time. Our last stop to Peggy Cove was nice, we've been there before so we didn't spend too much time there.

This was a last-minute booking that worked out really well for our group. Easy pickup and timely return to the cruise port. Our guide was Ziyan who knew the roads and places really well. While we had been on several tours to Peggy’s Cove before, Ziyan was the first guide we’ve had to actually walk around town with us and not just take us to the lighthouse. Lunenberg and Mahone Bay were picturesque small towns. While we could have gone to a local restaurant for lunch, the lines were long. So our lobster rolls from the Subway in Lunenberg were great for a delicious quick meal and we sat on the back deck overlooking the harbor and the Bluenose II tall ship. The Ovens Natural Park trail was not too long a walk and not necessarily an easy walk by US Parks standards (uneven surfaces, loose gravel, rough steps/stairs, etc) but the whole area was fascinating and awesome nonetheless. At the end, we were able to add one more thing to the tour and went to visit the cemetery where a lot of the Titanic victims were buried. All in all, an easy booking, a very accommodating guide and just a wonderful day! Thank you!

Great trip to see some of the famous Nova Scotia sites. Ziyan was our guide and driver, and he provided a lot of history and fun facts as we drove from place to place. Ziyan also highlighted a number of key spots for pictures which was great.

This is a good tour if you want to see a lot in one day. We would have liked to stay and explore Lunenburg a bit longer, but ran short of time (mostly because the restaurant we chose for lunch was busy and service slow). Zihan was kind enough to keep us out an extra hour for a small fee. We also shouldn’t have lingered so long at the first stop, Peggy’s Cove. But all in all it was a lovely day. Zihan was super nice and relaxed, and knew the answers to most of our questions.
