This is offered as both a Doors-On or Doors-Off Tour at no extra cost.

Strictly Private Tours from Same Family or Group

A minimum of 2 / Maximum 3 passengers per helicopter. Groups of 4+ taken in multiple helicopters. Depending on availability, may take off at the same time.

Due to comfort and weight balance of the aircraft, passengers weights limit must not exceed 275lbs per person; 620lbs total. If weight restrictions are exceeded, we will cancel the tour and no refund will be given

A minimum of 2 seats must be purchased even if only 1 passenger wishes to travel; this is a private tour, and passenger groups are not mixed

Minimum age is 7 years, required to sit by a closed door. Ages 12 years and older may sit next to an open door.

ALL tours are Doors-Off (Except for passengers 7-11 years old)

Passengers must provide their own means of transportation to our office for check in.

Check in is 40 minutes prior. Late check ins will be considered as a no show and subject to full price.

Elevenhundredfiftyeleven stars! This trip is amazing and by far the highlight of our time on Oahu. Mauna Loa Tours more than exceeded our expectations! The pilot was personable and knowledgeable. His English accent was precious! I recommend this tour all day every day!!❤️

Our pilot Jake was great and so personable! It was my first time in a helicopter, so I sat quietly in the back seat. He checked on me a few times to make sure I was good. Just as advertised, we flew over Waikiki Beach, Diamondhead, famous coves, mountains, valleys, windfarms, beautiful beaches, and Pearl Harbor. Jake pointed out all the landmarks along the way. It was a wonderful experience!

Mike was our pilot and he was great. This tour was educational and we saw amazing views of the island. We were able to see and learn things we didn’t know existed. This was a great time I will be doing this again sometime soon.

Wow!! This was the best experience you could ask for, definitely well worth the money. Our pilot was Jake, he was awesome, friendly, fun and very informative.

Wow!! What a fantastic experience, our pilot was Jake, he was friendly, fun and very informative, couldn’t have asked for better. If you’re on the fence about this tour, I can not recommend it highly enough.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Mike(pilot) was awesome. Very informative on what we were looking at, gave lots of history facts. Gave a heads up on when it was gonna be a little bumpy due to the mountains. His music Playlist was 2nd to none. If your looking for a great flight, use these guys! You will not be disappointed. BTW, we took the private flight with out the doors! I knew what I was getting with the doors off, wife was not so sure. But she loved it for her first ever helicopter ride.

The best thing we have done by far, we recommend doing a helicopter tour early on in your trip. So you may plan other experiences based on what you see. Our pilot Jake was very informative about the island and gave us some great information during our flight. We will always remember this trip celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, thank you!
