  We had a fabulous day with Lakshmi, who is a great storyteller. She found the perfect mix of historical details, interesting stories, and humor, making it an unforgettable experience for us. Booking the tour and the whole process was absolutely hassle-free. The organization was perfect. We will definitely be back for another trail!

  A true highlight of our time in Chennai, Lakshmi is an incredible story teller, and a kind and gracious host who despite the weather gave us a wonderful tour. As someone with an Indian background, I was a bit nervous to go with a tour but our group learnt so much behind the “things we do”. It was also a treat to be taken to a local food joint!

  Lakshmi is exceptional. We completed this walking tour after near 24 hours of travel and very little sleep. My group of 17, most of them teenagers, were completely besotted with Lakshmi: her genuine warmth, sense of humour, and impressive knowledge had us eating out of the palm of her hand. Do this tour, and cross your fingers that you, too, get the pleasure of learning from Lakshmi.

  We may have been to Mylapore and the Shiva temple often as locals .The Peacock Trail gives all our previous visits a depth of understanding…Our host Lakshmi told well researched stories that brought the environs to life. Lakshmi is a warm and charming story teller and it was fun revisiting well known and loved sites with her. I recommend this value for money trail to all locals who think they know it all! because they are locals.Lakshmi will surprise you.

  I've long been a follower of the Storytrails YouTube channel. During a recent visit to India I (and some friends) decided to go on a couple of walking tours in Chennai with them. Their tours were wonderful. Funny, informative, accurate, historical and contemporary. Our guide - Lakshmi - went above and beyond to make the tour work for us. Highly recommended

  Sri was a perfect tour guide for us – we will surely remember many of the stories he shared with us. We already shared Ganesha story to family members. In this way, the culture, religion, and history became much more vivid. We were also really lucky to witness a traditional wedding at the temple.   The tour was extremely entertaining and very entertaining. Sri has told the different stories very interesting and exciting. When we graduated from the restaurant, we were able to ask a lot of questions and he tried to answer everything and bring us closer to Indian culture. It was a fantastic tour that I can recommend without restriction and I am already looking forward to my next visit to Chennai to do another tour of story trails.

  This was an exceptional tour! One of the best experiences on a tour I have had. ! Lakshmi has a wonderful way of sharing information through stories. She is a wealth of information and is so charming as well. I would gladly take more tours with her!
