You will be amazed by the stunning mosaics. Ravenna is a treasure trove which unveils eight UNESCO World Heritage monuments. You will appreciate the Ravennate atmosphere and feel to be part of the history. Visit of the byzantine Basilica of San Vitale, the roman Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo built by the king Theodoric, the Tomb of the major Italian poet Dante Alighieri. You will have the chance to step into a mosaic workshop, have a coffee break in a peaceful café and see the flooded crypt of the Basilica of Saint Francis. All with a local passionate and experienced tour guide.

This was one of the best tours we took. Our guide was quite well informed and she adapted her tour to our interests ( early church history).

We walked at a comfortable pace, our guide Christiana went out of her way to meet us at the Bus Shuttle Terminal, she also pre purchased tickets to the 3 main Churches to which I reimbursed her, they were so beautiful just Amazing, the Mosaics were unbelievable, Christiana was so knowledgeable & spoke in detail about everything. I loved this tour. The only upsetting part is that I didn’t realise that I had to walk all the way back to the Bus Terminal on my own, I guess this was my bad for not having researched the address where we were being left, but managed to get back in time however I did find it extremely stressful as I had my 81 year old Mother with me. Loved the tour & all the Gorgeous Mosaics! Many Thanks

We had a wonderful time visiting the Mosaics. Our guide Christina was very informative with explaining all of the history. She even recommended a great place for lunch.

Cristiana’s knowledge was outstanding as was her English and personality. She met me at the train station right on time and and everything was as good as one could expect, probably better.
