The tour starts in the morning or afternoon at the Bath Abbey in the city center, where you will meet your guide and begin with a string of sites including Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey, the site of the coronation of the first King of England in 973. You then proceed to the first highlight of the tour, the Roman Baths. Your guide will lead the group into the Baths (if option selected) to see the fascinating items and legacies left in Bath by the Romans during their occupation of the area, and to witness the miraculous phenomenon of Bath's hot geothermal springs. In the second half of the tour, you will also take in the enchanting Georgian architecture of this charming town. From the magnificent Royal Crescent to the mysterious Circus, you see the best of the pomp and luxury of the 18th century. We proceed from the central Pump Rooms to the lavish Upper Assembly Rooms and, finally, arrive at the sumptuous Royal Crescent and the mysterious Circus, Bath offers a stunning variety of breathtaking architectural gems. The tour has been specially devised to show you the very best of the Bath. The guides are fun, engaging local professionals who will make the city’s history truly accessible for visitors of all ages. 5.00Delightful tour to see all the Bath sites and entry into the Roman baths museum, which can be a whole afternoon! John is an excellent tour guide, he is personable and navigates Bath with confidence and ease (even during the extra busy Christmas market season!). He has great history and stories to share, pointing out all the lovely details of Bath. The walking tour of the city is right about 1.5-2 hours and then if you have entry to the baths, it can be from .5 hours - 3 hours more, there is so much to see in the baths! If you are lucky enough to get John as your guide, you are in for a treat!

5.00John was a very enthusiastic, informed and well-paced guide. We enjoyed the 90-minute walking tour (but didn't visit the Roman Baths as we had done this on a previous trip to the city). Would definitely recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting Bath and requiring an overview of the key sights in the city.

5.00Jamie was a great and cheerful tour guide! We enjoyed the overview and history of Bath. Instead of just talking at us nonstop, he asked interesting questions and got the entire small group interacting with a fun back and forth which helped us to remember a lot of the fun historical details. My two teens also really enjoyed the tour so this is definitely a great one for travelers of all ages. Bath is truly a gorgeous and special city and this was a great way to start off and get your footing in the city. I highly recommend this tour to get you started!

4.00William was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Despite the rain we had a very interesting 1.5 hour walk around the main architectural attractions of Bath. For the tour itself, I would definitely recommend. PROBLEM: The joining instructions said meet outside the big wooden doors of the Abbey, opposite the entrance to the baths. We arrived 15 minutes early as instructed. Waited and waited. My phone was inside my jacket sheltering from the rain. It was chance that I checked it and found a missed call from William, asking where we were. In fact we were opposite him, as he was next to the baths entrance. All's well that ends well in this instance but it would have been helpful if we had been told our guide would be holding a big green and white umbrella, which could be the same whether the weather was wet or dry. This by no means detracted from the actual tour by William

1.00I did not get to experience this adventure, this was due to non identifiable of the guide. There was no indication of who the guide was in such a crowded place. I was very disappointed . All guides should ware bright Identification to show who they are .
