Located 110 kilometers southeast of Rovaniemi, the 30-kilometer-long and up to 130-meter-deep Korouoma Canyon offers breathtaking scenery year-round. In winter, its cliffs transform into dazzling ice formations, creating some of Europe's most spectacular frozen waterfalls. Join your guided hike through the canyon, where you'll strap on winter boots to navigate the snowy terrain. Along the way, snap photos of the impressive frozen waterfalls and stunning ice formations. After the hike, warm up with a traditional Finnish campfire snack and hot juice served around a roaring bonfire. Your tour includes professional winter clothing, winter boots, all fees and taxes, private transportation, snacks, and hotel pick-up/drop-off for accommodations outside the city center. This full-day tour, lasting around 7 hours with approximately 5 kilometers of walking, will leave you back in Rovaniemi by 16:00. 5.00Toni was an awesome guide for the hike we took to the korouoma waterfalls. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We also went on a day where it was icy/slippery and he did a great job at guiding the group through difficult parts. Highly recommend the tour and with Toni!

5.00Incredible Korouoma frozen waterfalls hike! The Korouoma canyon hike was one of the highlights of our trip near Rovaniemi. The scenery was absolutely stunning with frozen waterfalls, snowy forests, and beautiful winter landscapes. Everything was very well organized and the pace of the hike was comfortable for everyone. A special thank you to our guide, MICRO who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable by sharing interesting facts about the area and making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommended if you want to experience the beautiful nature of Lapland!

5.00Beautiful excursion through the Korouoma Canyon seeing the stunning icy waterfalls. Enjoyable activity despite a small slope somewhat more demanding that ends with a barbecue in the middle of the forest. 5.00We had great experience. The whole hike was so fun and full of nature. Snow everywhere but yet quite safe. Our guide Mirco was very helpful and informative. He made the whole hike fun and a wonderful experience. Don't miss it you you love nature and can walk 5 kms.
