Amazing sites to see. Guide was solid. Her English was a bit hard to understand but we got used to it. She was knowledgeable about the subjects she was presenting. I do prefer a bit more storytelling but that’s just my preference. Good experience overall and I’m glad we did it.

Luisa, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant! We went on a Sunday when the church where the shroud is housed has Mass. She was mindful of this and ensured that we got to the area between masses. She accommodated our tour of the Palace. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness.

We had a wonderful experience with Luisa, our tour guide in Torino. She guided us through the Royal Palace and the Duomo with the Holy Shroud, sharing her deep knowledge in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. Luisa was attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the history come alive without ever feeling overwhelming. The tour lasted about two hours, which was the perfect amount of time to explore and learn at a comfortable pace. Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable tour, thanks to Luisa’s insight and welcoming personality. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide Luisa was very professional and attentive during our tour. She wished 2 members of our party a Happy Birthday which was gelato on a come. I highly recommend her for this tour.

If you are visiting the Royal Palace, this tour is highly recommended. You cannot visit the palace without joining a tour, and the tours sponsored by the Palace are only in Italian which also made a third-party tour necessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Luisa who combined her deep knowledge with entertaining wit. I appreciated how she pointed out artistic details – like the beautifully designed wood floors – which would have been easily overlooked given all the bling about (like gold leaf everywhere and the extravagant chandeliers).. A tour highlight was the Guarini altar in the cathedral where the Shroud of Turin had once been housed. (The Shroud is still in the cathedral but for its safety is now in a side chapel.) The Guarini dome is truly an architectural wonder of the world and the chapel itself is very beautiful, with a black marble passageway used by the royal family. So glad that we got to see this!!

I enjoyed this tour very much, and I learned a lot about the early years of the Italian monarchy after the unification of Italy. Luisa was a fantastic guide -- insightful, knowledgeable, and fun. Turin in general, and the Royal Palace in particular, seems like Italy's undiscovered gem. There was no need to fight the crowds as in Florence, Rome or Venice.

This was a great tour of the Royal Palace and Shroud Chapel. Our group was small and we were able to cover a lot of the palace, Shroud chapel and the Duomo where the Shroud of Turin is currently located, although not visible for public viewing. Our guide Luisa was very communicative with directions and any time changes. I highly recommend this tour.

Luisa was knowledgable and gracious. She made our tour enjoyable and we learned a lot. At the end, she took us to the church where the exact replica of the shroud is. It was a wonderful experience!
