Visit the amazing throne room, a brilliant example of the Italian baroque style. Gold and gemstones embellish the magnificent hall, symbol of the opulence of that period.

Enter the royal office where the king signed his coronation documents, and many other fascinating and luxurious chambers, such as the ballroom or the apartments. Finally, end your visit with the baroque Chapel of the Holy Shroud, which was built exactly to preserve the Holy Shroud. Even though you will not find it there anymore, because a big fire threatened to destroy it, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

This was really interesting. Finally a Palace that looked like a Palace. Our guide did a good job with the history on Turin and the Savoy family.

We’re an Asian American family from New York, visiting Turin as part of an educational vacation with my older son. The Royal Palace itself was absolutely stunning—rich in history, beautifully preserved, and definitely a highlight of our trip. However, we paid over $100 for a group tour for two people, and the experience was disappointing. From the start, the guide made us feel unwelcome—avoiding eye contact, turning her back toward us the entire time, and only responding when we asked direct questions. We couldn’t help but feel ignored and excluded. Despite this, we’re still glad we visited, as the palace is magnificent. We just hope future guests, especially those paying extra for a guided experience, feel more included and respected.

The palace is far more impressive inside than it is outside. The Shroud monument is absolutely stunning and the room had a reverence and beauty to it. Our guide pointed out so many subtle details that we would never seen! Very well done.

We had a great very informative and animated guide Jaida, who knew the material very well, gave us a complete overview of the history of Savoy and Italy. Would highly recommend to people, who are interested in it. Magnificent architecture and art!
