Matmata Welcome Sign
Break, & Lunch (for 9 eur per person approx): Local lunch break in Matmata, where you can tryout the delicious food for low prices. It's also a break for cigarette and toilet.
Discover a traditional Berber Troglodyte House (Carved inside a rock, cave Like) in Matmata. Enjoy Berber tea, try local bread, and taste olive oil and honey made by locals. The underground house, once used for hiding from enemies, is still inhabited today. Leave a voluntary tip as a thank-you for their hospitality.
Explore the iconic Star Wars filming location in Matmata. Step into the surreal landscape that served as the backdrop for Luke Skywalker's home. Experience the magic of standing where legendary scenes were shot and immerse yourself in the cinematic history of the galaxy far, far away. NOTE : The first part of Star Wars was shot here. a second part was shot in Ong Jmal (which is not included in our itinerary because it's in the heart of Sahara) Extra: If you choose to go to the second one in Ong Jmal, that requires a Jeep 4x4, which requires an additional payment of approx 120 eur per Jeep (that carries 6 people)
Douz
the main Sahara Desert in Douz, known as the "Gateway to the Sahara." Witness the breathtaking sunset over the vast dunes, creating a mesmerizing background for unforgettable photos. (Optional) thrilling quad tours / tranquil camel ride through the golden sands, immersing yourself in the timeless beauty of the desert landscape.

Begin your second day with an inspiring sunrise at the Salt Lake of Chott el Jerid, Tunisia's second-largest salt flat. Capture stunning photos and take in the serene beauty of this natural wonder during the 45-minute stop.
Decor Star Wars Tunisie
120 EUR per Jeep 4x4 (can take up to 6 people): Driven by pros, get ready for some fun! You’ll jump over sand dunes, enjoy the peaceful desert views, and maybe even spot a mirage. Visit Ong Jmal, where Star Wars was filmed, and check out how locals keep scorpions and snakes as pets. After the adventure, we’ll head back to the main road. All of this for around 120 EUR per jeep, which fits up to 6 people.
Chebika
Explore the stunning oasis in the desert. Enjoy the lush greenery and towering cliffs like the american south. Relax by the beautiful waterfalls and wander along the paths to discover hidden spots in this peaceful retreat. If you like, you can take a refreshing swim in the clear water, though not for too long. We’ll also take a break here with café, snacks, and more.
A break to enjoy panoramic photos from the top of the stunning Tamaghza canyons. The breathtaking view is perfect for capturing memorable shots. You'll also have the chance to feed baby camels some milk (a tip for the camel owner is appreciated). Feel free to relax and have a cigarette here if you like.

5.00We booked the 2-day Sahara excursion, which included quad biking, a 4x4 desert tour, and visits to the Star Wars Village as well as the Tsabika Oasis. Our overnight stay in the desert tents was an unforgettable experience, and everything was arranged flawlessly.Plus our trip was custom we did every stop we needed and pickup and return from our chosen hotels was ideal! Our guide, Ahmed, welcomed us warmly — almost like greeting old friends — and he supported us throughout the entire trip, explaining everything we asked along the way. The whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Anyone visiting Tunisia should definitely travel with Simba Travel. We also booked a VIP airport transfer on our first day to Medina, and everything was perfectly on time and well organized. Many thanks to Ahmed. When we return, we will absolutely choose him again!

5.00The VIP Tour in Sahara through the Simba is actually a car rental private chauffeur. The chauffeur Mr. Othmen is more than just that, he accompanied us and organized the whole trip after consultation with us and was very flexible so that everything we wanted to see also managed. You have to remember that they pay for the extras. A very good recommendation we got from Othmen for tent accommodation again everything organized by him. And the restaurants recommendation also organized by him have exceeded expectations. Thank you very much

5.00I decided to book a family 2 day trip to the Sahara desert to do some activities while we were in Tunisia. I am so glad that I booked with Simba fun travel, they sent Hsin as our travel guide driver, Hsin made an already amazing trip into an unforgettable experience. He was so accommodating, patience and took complete care of us, my son had a minor injury while playing in the sand dunes and Hsin looked after him and nursed him better, he went over the call of duty, he protected us all from scammers and made us all feel safe. The trip was exactly what was advertised and worth every penny, I am not going to reiterate what other reviewers have already wrote about the cost of the activities, in my opinion you pay for what you get, it is not cheap but it really is worth it for the trip of a lifetime experience, it was abso-bloody-lutely amazing. If you are thinking about doing this but can't make your mind up... JUST DO IT!!!
