  We booked this package as we wanted to include the husky and reindeer experiences on the day we brought our kids to Santa’s Village. From collection to drop off, our guide looked after us very well and each of the experiences was excellent. We were lucky to have snowy weather. Everything combined, I’m sure we will look back on the day as one of the most memorable we had as a family.

  Very interesting programme and we had a good driver who brought us to the Santa Village and we had a good time. Only setback is that there is only one husky sledge and the rest of us were waiting and freezing for our turn in the cold. It took around half an hour before our turn and we were already freezing in the cold. Nevertheless, we have enjoyed ourselves.

  DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. We paid €750 for the tour and it was a robbery, please go with someone else. We booked a tour for the santa village, reindeer experience and husky safari. At 2am of the morning we were due to leave, I received an email to tell us that the husky experience was cancelled. We later found out that the husky safari doesnt even open of a Sunday, the day we booked the tour for months in advance, they have always been closed on sundays so we were confused why the company would sell tickets to something they must know is closed, the other familes on the tour were also very upset with this as this was one of the main reasons we all booked in the first place. To start the day, the bus was late and we had to call a few different number to find out what was going on as no one told us they were running late. When we arrived, it turns out the enternace to the park was free, so the only thing that was a paid experience was the reindeers, which you could pay at the door for €100 for the family. Apart from that, the only other cost would have been a 10 minute taxi from our hotel. Overall, it should have cost us €160 max for everything and somehow they charged us €750! When we called them, we had a really poor responce, we explained that we must be on the wrong tour as the plan on ours was a guided tour with 3 stops that lasted all day, not a drop off for 3 hours, the man was really rude on the phone, his only response was "if you're not happy you can go home" while we are already there with our 2 children. We tried to ask if we could do the remainder of the hour tomorrow as the husky experience is open and we're told we have to email as the person on the phone couldn't help. The organization and bad communication was terrible but honestly, we feel like we were conned on this tour and I have sincd seen other reviews that are similar (stupidly, I didnt check reviews before hand). not worth the price. Would highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs!

  This tour is a complete rip off. The write up said a Husky and reindeer ride. No mention if it is too hot these rides can not take place. When we got to the Husky enclosure they would not accept Viators credit card. It had been banned due to bad advertising. We had to pay another 60 Euros to get in. Our guide whose English was very poor rang the agent and we were promised a full refund. Viator have only refunded $80 Australian dollars which doesn’t cover the extra 60 Euros. They have said it is the end of the matter. The tour was over $700 Australian dollars for the two of us plus the extra 60 Euros. I write to Viators most days but I am sure they have blocked my emails. It was a gift that I requested from our 2 children for my 70th birthday and it just leaves me with a terrible memory. Viators also promised the other young couple on the tour a full refund but they won’t have received it either. I would never book with VIATOR again. Consumers beware.

  This tour is the biggest rip off of all times. Features were Husky and reindeers rides. Neither happened as was too hot for the animals but doesn’t state that anywhere. Had to pay an extra 30 Euros each to get into the Husky park as they had blocked Viators credit card. The agent in Helsinki guaranteed a full refund but we have only got back $80 Australian which doesn’t even cover the extra. They guaranteed an English speaking guide. He was nice but his English was very poor. Just catch the bus there and pay for what is available. Works out so much cheaper. I am continually emailing Viator now but they just ignore us. Ending up costing about $760 Australian dollars for nothing. It was a 70th birthday gift from my children and they have given me bad memories. I will never use Viator again and warn others about them. I would even now accept half the cost as a refund but they say it is the end of the matter. Just not acceptable

  The positives point was our guide..he was on time and friendly. And his English was very good.!! The cost of the trip..wasn't value for money..we got a 4 minute ride..on the Reindeer and husky rides. And 15 minutes in the husky pen. Then a lift back..wouldn't recommend this. As you can get a taxi both ways..and pay for those tickets directly from the park for a lot less!!

  It's only 10 mins from Rovuniemi so easy to plan yourself by taxi.Its a hugely expensive trip that you can do cheaper yourself.the reindeer ride is pleasant,the husky ride short but great. The major dreadful bit is meeting Santa . My grandchildren though they were going to Lapland to meet the real Santa.Instead they queued for an hour to have no conversation at all,just have a photo taken the cost 40 euros to buy.wgst a ripoff,and now they don't believe any more .Very sad and very greedy Don't bother with this part so don't bother with the trip,do it yourself.

  Great excursion! Driver was friendly and accommodating. At each spot you’ll get to visit with the animals . You’ll feed the reindeer & go for a short sleigh ride; same with huskies - take a quick sleigh ride, then visit pet the dogs. Then the farm guides give a short talk on the reindeer / huskies while you enjoy a hot juice and snacks. Santa’s village is a quick guided tour and then free time to explore at your leisure. Visit Santa, send a post card, grab lunch ( reservations strongly recommended), and grab some souvenirs. Overall a great experience .

  I had such a great time. The sleigh rides with the reindeer and the huskies were so much fun. Santa village is magical. Wish I had more time to walk around and shop in the Village.
