5.00If you have any hesitation about booking this tour, just do it. I had the most amazing time with our guide Daniel, who was so cool, knew everything about the island, and made the whole day an incredible experience. The tour was packed with so many sites, it was the entire day so you absolutely get your money's worth, and since we had a small group it was quite flexible. I'm not a big reviewer but felt quite compelled to write this as my thanks. I could not be more satisfied. Thank you Daniel, and to Pure Azores for making my last day in Sao Miguel so special.

5.00This excursion is a full day exploring the East side of the island! You get to see so many amazingly gorgeous areas! This experience was AMAZING! João was literally the best guide! He was extremely knowledgeable, funny (even with some cheesy dad jokes), and an unexpected surprise, he’s a great photographer! He made sure that our group was involved and informed. He was attentive to everyone’s needs and requests. João literally made the day more enjoyable! I would highly recommend this experience with João and Pure Azores Tours! Ask for João!!!

5.00If you are lucky I hope you get João as your guide. He is so friendly and knowledgeable. But more importantly he drives very smoothly. I usually get motion sickness but didn’t feel sick once while on the tour. We stopped at so many beautiful places (and every stop had a restroom). I only got to do one tour on my trip but glad it was this one. I loved the waterfalls and garden stops. Everything was timed well. Never felt rushed. Early December is a quiet time and we got a nice sunny day.

5.00It was a big surprise this tour. We stayed 2 days on the island of São Miguel and took the opportunity to get to know the island with a local guide. Since the start of the tour we were well received by Mr. Hugo. Hugo is an excellent professional, with a lot of knowledge, funny, and that has marked for the positive all day. Each place where we stopped was given a detailed description with some history and curiosities. Hugo was always willing to answer any questions and helped to take pictures. We had a pretty nice lunch in the Furnas, where we ate a pretty tasty cooked. Our tour was in Portuguese, but as we were accompanied by some English tourists, we preferred to do the tour also in English. Whenever necessary, we talked to Hugo about some topic, doubt or curiosity in Portuguese. It was undoubtedly one of the best experiences with a guide I have ever participated in. A big thanks and a hug to Hugo for all the availability. Thank you. Alexandre and Vera
