  Our tour guide, Catia, was amazing and very knowledgeable. Every location we visited was beautiful. And we were very lucky the cloud cover had lifted and we could see the lake in the Lagoa do Fogo. I highly recommend the tour!

  Joao is an extremely nice guide who is very knowledgeable about the Azores. Whether asked about the land, the sea, or the vegetation, he had an answer. He made sure to give all group members his attention, and time. We stopped at many fabulous, scenic places and were given all the time we needed . The lunch buffet provided was also exceptional.

  Joao was a great guide. Set a nice pace for the day. Never rushed but we got to see it all. Lunch was wonderful. Lot’s of choice. I highly recommend!

  Amazing experience all thanks to our incredible tour guide, Gonçalo or “G”. G was informative, funny, engaging, and for a man of his young age, so incredibly knowledgeable of the history, geography, customs and culture of São Miguel. Luck was on our side weather wise as we had breathtaking views at all of our stops—ones that are typically shrouded in fog. I cannot say enough fantastic things about this travel company and its tour guides. I would give it six stars if I could.

  I can’t say enough about my recent tour experience with Pure Azores. Manuel, our guide, was exceptional. He made everyone feel as if they were family while providing safe transportation, and expertise in the field. I would highly recommend this company and our guide to anyone wanting to experience the island in the best way possible. I hope to return for another adventure!
