This tour is for Cruise Ship passengers arriving in Picton, New Zealand

Explore New Zealand's premier wine region on this 5-6 hr tour from Picton. Visit four different wineries in the Marlborough wine region and visit the boutique Chocolate Factory, stroll through the vineyards, and sample wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. This small-group tour is limited to 11 people and it is tailored to the needs of people coming off the Cruise Ships who may have different timing requirements to our standard daily tours.

please Note : There is no Cruise Terminal in Picton so all passengers must disembark the ship onto shuttle buses to the Picton I Site where we meet all tour particpants

Make sure you eat a hearty breakfast as the lunch doesn’t come until the 4th winery. Our guide was exceptionally, she talked about the local history and explained everything as we went along. For the most part the wineries were very good and gave us a good overview of the different wines produced. Being a small group(10) it was easy to see the smaller family owned wineries. Several have a long history in the Marlborough wine region. It was a sunny but windy day and wineries made sure we had comfortable seating. The shared charcuterie box for our lunch was packed with very good cheeses, assorted crackers, meat, dried fruits and delicious fig and pear jam. We were delivered back to our meeting point with plenty of time to explore the town before boarding the ship.

Absolutely wonderful afternoon in Marlborough tasting fantastic wines. Everything went exactly as planned, pick up was straightforward & Phil was friendly & informative throughout the tour. Such a lovely guy. We went to 4 different vineyards & sampled 4/5 wines at each, weather was perfect and siting out amongst the vines was a superb way to spend an afternoon. One of the highlights of our 14 day cruise around New Zealand - absolutely wonderful!

James was our driver and there were 11 of us in the van. The weather was spectacular and the wineries were all quite different. This has been our favorite excursion in NZ. We were able to purchase a snack box of crackers, breads, meat, cheese and fruit at one of the stops. This helped take the edge off our hunger. I actually don’t drink but truly enjoyed being out in nature and seeing the rural countryside and meeting the local people.

We were blessed with beautiful weather for our group of 10 tour guided by Gavin. The four boutique wineries were excellent and Gavin did an amazing job helping provide his excellent guidance and expertise! All the wineries did a nice job of providing quality tasting experiences and one, Fromm, did a superior job of providing beautiful glassware to enhance the true tasting.

It was a great experience where we had the opportunity to taste several wines from 4 wineries in the region. We also had the opportunity to have a great lunch at one of the winery. Our guide was able to give us pertinent information about wine and the region. We really enjoyed the Tour and would recommend it.

This was a polished professional wine tasting tour closely integrated with 4 different “cellar doors” expertly organised and tied together by Keith. It was a glorious way to tour the Marlborough region. This was an onshore cruise day in Picton and we were kept well informed by the company at all stages with timings and directions. We tasted 17 wines in beautiful and comfortable locations given superb detail by the passionate experts at each cellar. The day was rounded off with a lunch of the highest quality providing the perfect end to an unforgettable day.

Great tour. Glen was a good driver and guide and it was a fun day. Enjoyed the wineries especially the organic winery. Last winery was our lunch stop. It was average but would have preferred a winery that had snacks and cheese plates rather than full main meals. Overall a very good tour and would recommend.

Small group so much better than Cruise ship excursions. Allows better interaction with wineries - and we can visit smaller operations Very good guide stayed with us at each stop

Gavin, our guide, was great! Tour left promptly. We stopped at the chocolate factory first and avoided the crowds. The wineries were very good.
