  The bus trip up to the summit had breathtaking views of the mountains all the way to White pass. We stopped along the road to get pictures of the scenery including water falls and valleys and many mountains with lots of snow on them. White Pass was the summit with glacial melt lakes.

  Rebecca, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and history. We had multiple opportunities to stop and admire the views and take pictures. It was an excellent tour!

  Was nervous about this trip due to other reviews. We found our bus with little trouble ( asked locals where we were supposed to meet). It was great, then driver( think Brent Gibson) was very knowledgeable and made the trip more enjoyable. We had a blast, was happy that our group was small enough to be able to converse with everyone with no problems. Great trip, would definitely recommend.

• Do this tour instead of the train!

  The family had an amazing time exploring Alaska and the Yukon on this excursion. Worth every single penny and was a perfect day in Skagway. Do this tour, skip the train, this tour goes deeper into the wilderness without the crowds you will find on the train.

  To see the White Pass is to enjoy the beauty. To know the history just enhances it. Lots of photo stops along the way. Not to be missed.

  I thought this was a bus tour around town and then a train ride. However, It is all done via bus. Our tour guide, Dennis, was lively and full of good information. I just wonder if you might have seen more (better) views on the train.

  The Southeast Tours company was awesome. The driver (Luis) was friendly and we enjoyed it. However, Viator is not so good -- it gave us an old address of the meeting point despite the Tours company claimed they have been asking Viator to update for several months. Viator also gave us a UK number to contact the tour operator instead of a local number. Of course, no one answered the phone when I called the UK number. I was fortunate that the new owner of the old address told me the new location otherwise I'd be lost.
