  Just buy skip the line, it’s so worth it. You can’t use it on the way back down but it was perfect, minimal wait time.

  This was not worth $91. Yes you skip long lines at train station, but you still end up waiting for at least 20 min with everyone else for train. Also, this doesn’t include any other excursions. Too expensive for just Christo and not include Selaron Steps or Sugarloaf Mountain

  Dont by the skip the line pass you will pay extra for nothing. Nobody tells you where to go so you end up waiting with everyone else. When we asked someone upstair they said it was only to go up… Bad experience

  Skipped the Line, Yay! As expected it was still busy but I skipped the line and headed for the train up, a nice short journey through the trees. Then there you have it, Christ the redeemer!

  I booked this tour by my return flight date on accident and they still allowed me to do it before Great service and I got there so easily with this priority pass actually skips the line .

  The wait was extremely long. Our train broke down twice which has us waiting over 2 hrs for repair to reach each station. We weren’t even notified when the cart broken down with us in it with no electricity .

  The skip the line pass was definitely worth it for us! We arrived around 10:30 on a Friday morning. The line was long and the temperature hot. We spoke to an attendant, were sent directly to the ticket booth, then directly to the front of the line. One train departed as we arrived, then we got on the next train. We definitely saved a couple of hours by the looks of it. Gave us more time to travel over to Sugarloaf next.

  Beautiful experience, great option with skip the line included that allowed us to get in before another 50/60 people and get on the train first giving us the chance to be in front during the climb

  I went on one of the first clear days for about a week and it was also a weekend so there were crowds! I got a vibe from the staff that they were not thrilled by seeing people with skip the line tickets given the way they eyed the yellow bracelet. Maybe they are not benefitting from the additional fees we pay. I was guided to get my bracelet and then when I went for boarding, I had to wait for the third train. First, I was told the train was full and I would have to stand so it was best I wait for 20 minutes for the next, I was let through to the platform for the 2nd train but they let groups on first and so had to wait again. It was not pleasant at all but then there were huge queues so without the bracelet I may have waited a couple of hours. The views from the top were amazing and being at this iconic site was worth the trouble. I discovered that I did not need to climb the steps up from the train after I had already done this! There are elevators from the train to the top and then escalators to the Christ statue base so the site seemed fully accessible. However, climbing the steps you do see some special views as well. There was no waiting on the train back. I met some athletic looking Brazilians who had hiked all the way up to avoid the lines. Obviously this was beyond my fitness zone. So is paying the extra money for a skip the line ticket worth it? Somewhat. Is visiting this iconic site worth it? Hey it is one of the wonders of the world! If you are catholic, there is a lovely little chapel at the top. I was blessed by a priest who had conducted the baptism of a baby just because I said hello. Although there were crowds everyone was very polite and friendly. Overall a great experience.
