4.00The "Skip the line" tickets were well worth it during the peak January tourist season. We got to the front of the train line only 5 minutes after arriving. It was 35C so my only negative comment was about there being almost zero shade whilst waiting the 10 minutes for the train to arrive to take us to the top. Did I mention it was 35C and very hot! Yes, very hot!

5.00If time is money, then I would recommend purchasing the skip the line tickets. I was with a Brazilian (which does help) but you show them your pass and you get an armband and they then escort you past the crowd to the 1st line for the train. On a hot day (like when we went) or weekend, it may save you 30-45 minutes (my opinion). It is only for the train up, not the train back. But our line was much shorter/faster for the return train. I would do the same then again if I went. Enjoy!

3.00The staff only recognized the ticket on the way up to the mountain. They do not allow us to skip the line on the way down. No skip the line for elevators.

2.00The skip the line ticket only helps a little on the way up, and doesn't help at all on the way down. It is also difficult and cumbersome to convert the trip advisor voucher to the tram tickets as there is little help from personnel there and you need to bring ID for everyone (including kids for some reason) to get the tickets from the office.

5.00The staff at both the base of the Corcovado and upstairs in the Christ were very attentive. We needed a wheelchair for a senior in our group, and we had no problem and were very well served.

5.00Worth the visit. One of the 7 wonders of the world. Take the train up, you will see breathtaking views of Rio. Enjoy some ice cream or beer at the top.
