5.00We travelled with Gihan 8 days through Sri Lanka - the trip was very well planned. Gihan has also spontaneously taken into consideration any requests for change from us. He was always available for us and very reliable. It was very pleasant to talk to him - he speaks excellent English and knows a lot about his country. We can only recommend it to anyone!

5.00Our trip through Sri Lanka was an unforgettable experience thanks to the organization of Gihan and our driver Kumara. Communication with Gihan was incredibly fast, reliable and smooth from the start – individual requests were always flexibly and uncomplicated. Kumara, our driver, was not only extremely personable, but also very professional. He drove safely and prudently at all times, the mini van was in perfect condition – clean, comfortable and well maintained. We were particularly impressed by his courteous nature and extensive knowledge of the country. He provided us with many exciting details about Sri Lanka’s culture, history and nature – and fulfilled almost every wish, often even before we had expressed it. We can recommend this travel agency without restriction – for anyone who wants to discover Sri Lanka individually, safely and with a personal touch!

5.00We explored the country as part of our 10-day tour with Gihan Tours Sri Lanka – and what can I say: it was one of the best trips we have ever made! 🥰 Everything just went smoothly from the start. From the very first contact we were able to openly express our wishes – especially our great interest in nature, wildlife and national parks. Gihan then put together an individual tour for us that not only met our expectations, but really far exceeded them. The contact was very straightforward all the time via Whatsapp and you never had to wait long for a response from him! Our route took us from Sigiriya via Kandy, through the beautiful mountains near Ramboda, on to Ella, into the Yala National Park and finally into the Deniyaya rainforest. And this last stop was actually an absolute highlight – because Gihan not only gave us the idea to stay there (which we would never have thought of ourselves), but also organized a very special accommodation in the middle of the rainforest. An experience we will never forget! Gihan himself was a real lucky man as a driver and guide. Funny, easygoing, safe, likeable and absolutely professional. He answered each of our questions with patience, was extremely flexible with spontaneous changes or small extra requests and just always had a sense of what we might like. If we ever wanted to skip something or do something differently, that was no problem for him at all. We really appreciated this simplicity. The car was top: modern, clean, very comfortable and pleasantly air-conditioned – just what you need for longer distances in a warm country. At the larger sights Gihan had organized, private tours ready for us and that at no extra charge, only a small tip for the guides was welcome. Especially cool: for the famous culture dance in Kandy he had reserved us seats in the front row, and the visit to the Tooth Temple he timed so that we arrived just in time for the ceremony. These little things make all the difference. Also the accommodations Gihan booked for us were consistently great. Everything very clean, comfortable, well located and never “off the shelf”, but always with charm and character. You can just tell he knows what he's doing and he's doing his best for each of his guests. We have travelled a lot and made some round trips, but this tour was really an absolute highlight. The mix of organisation, flexibility, insider knowledge and genuine warmth was just perfect. If you don’t just want to “see” Sri Lanka, but want to experience it – we can heartily recommend Gihan to you.

5.00Wonderful family trip thanks to Gihan! Our trip through Sri Lanka with our two young children (2 and 6 years) was a complete success, thanks mainly to our driver Gihan. He was incredibly attentive and fulfilled every one of our wishes. Especially with children, his flexibility was worth gold. Gihan was a great driver, gave us great tips for authentic food and worthwhile excursions. Our children took him to their hearts. We can fully recommend a tour with Gihan, especially for families!

5.00I can only recommend doing a tour with Gihan Tours! I am alone in Sri Lanka & decided to do this tour so that I don't have to use public transport & to feel safe. Ashen was my driver & he took care of everything, went everywhere with me, gave me good tips (restaurants) & I always felt safe. It was a very nice 8 day trip & I can recommend it to everyone!
