Kapiolani Park
Queen Kapiʻolani Regional Park is the largest and second-oldest public park in Hawaii. In the 1870s, King Kalākaua was asked to find a permanent, dry course for horse racing. On June 11, 1877, the park was dedicated as the first Hawaiian public space. Since 1913, the park has been maintained by the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks & Recreation. The park itself also serves as a natural border between Waikiki and Diamond Head neighborhood.

5.00Our tour of the island was phenomenal. Pedro was so knowledgeable about the island. He informed us about what to expect before we got started and what to look forward to. He had us laughing at some things and then he would get serious when he was talking about each stop. Oh my God, what a beautiful island Oahu is. All the beautiful beaches, the blow holes, the bunkers built during the war. He told us about so much of the island tha it all seemed unreal until you actually saw it with your own eyes. Pedro is a remarkable tour guide and is worth a million dollars and he even told us about a house that was bought for $45 million dollars. That leaves us out for buying a house here. He showed us where former President Barak Obama lived and we all awwwed about. If I was staying longer, I would love to go on another tour with him because he made you feel relaxed as he toured the island. Thank you for sending Pedro to be our tour guide for this half day trip. It was greatly appreciated.

5.00This half day tour was very interesting and we saw a good deal of Oahu. The seven overlooks all had nice views and were good picture spots, so bring your camera. Pedro, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, professional and made the trip very interesting.

5.00Our guide Romero couldn’t be better. He’s enthusiastic, patient and knowledgeable. My husband has some mobility issues due to Parkinson’s Disease and Romero was kind and helpful getting in and out of the van.
