This day is in response to a growing demand from cruise passengers who have asked us for a full tour of Taha'a Island without repeating the pearl and vanilla tours they may have had the opportunity to visit several times.
This nature-oriented program favors panoramas and swimming in the most spectacular areas in several locations of the coral reef of the Taha'a lagoon with 3 coral gardens, swimming with blacktip sharks as well as in a basin or reef pool.
A tasty local meal prepared by the property owner on his motu away from the crowds reconnects us with the richness of the surrounding nature.
In fact, this atypical day stands out because we alone offer it.

5.00Our ship docked in Raiatea on March 20, 2026. We booked an all-day snorkeling trip for our small group with this small family owned company. The tour left directly from the port dock, easy to find and catch. We went to the adjacent island of Taha'a. Colorful fish, exciting drift dive, and comfortable/clean boat. Went to their home for a fresh lunch and to meet the family! Highly recommend!

5.00This tour was unbelievable; as we got off for the day, everyone's comment was, "Best day ever!" Our cruise had a late arrival, and our tour started at 11:30 a.m. — I can only imagine how spectacular a full-day tour would be! This tour was the best snorkeling tour I have ever done (possibly the best tour I've ever experienced). We saw all the best sites around Tahaa, from snorkeling with sharks, coral gardens, a traditional lunch on a private motu, a pearl farm, feeding the fish, and drift snorkeling, followed by a beautiful sunset. There were plenty of snacks, rum punch, beer, pineapple juice, and even fresh coconut. The guide, Jonathan, and the captain were so much fun; they took care of us, gave us a lot of laughs, and took us to the most spectacular places. We felt very safe with them; they kept us safe in the water, reminding us of sunscreen, etc. This tour is well worth the price; they had snorkels and towels available to borrow, and the owner was at the port at both the start and finish. He really cares that everyone has an amazing time. I hope to one day return to Raiatea, and I would book with L'Excursion Bleue again. It's rare I leave a review for a tour, but this one was truly spectacular.

5.00This excursion is for individuals that have previously snorkeled and capable swimmers. We enjoyed this excursion and it was the best snorkeling we have ever experienced! Be prepared for an attentive host who is there to ensure you are having a great time. Tauhere was knowledgeable, engaging and ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves. He confirmed when we needed to be back to the ship and made sure we got back in time. Do not hesitate to go on this excursion - absolutely FANTASTIC.
