Takakkaw Falls
Takakkaw Falls located in Yoho National Park, is Canada's second-highest waterfall, leaving every visitor in awe of its magic. in fact, the word "Yoho" is a Cree expression of amazement or awe. Generally considered a "moderately" challenging route, it takes an average of 20 minutes to hike to. Nothing captures the awe and wonder of Yoho National Park like the tremendous thunder of Takakkaw Falls. Plunging from above at a height of 833 ft freefall. If you’re lucky, you may see a rainbow or two at its base. It’s no wonder that the waterfall is based on the Cree word for “wonderful.” The Yoho is well known for Burgess Shale fossils so be on the lookout as you are making your way to Takakkaw Falls. The falls are the result of meltwater from the Daly Glacier, part of the 15-square-mile Waputik Icefield. It truly is one of the most magnificent sights in all of Canada. With a shirt hike to get to it, it's easy to do!
Wapta Falls
Wapta Falls is smaller than Takakkaw but still impressive standing at 98 feet high. It is named after the icefield that feeds both the Wapta Falls and Takakkaw. It is an easy hike, allowing for stunning views of the near-frozen falls. The 2.4 km trail to the falls is well-travelled. This is a fairly easy hike with a little more challenge at the very end. It’s unique to see the falls from above and then hike down to the base. It allows you to appreciate the awesomeness of the falls from all angles. The water has so much power at the base of the falls. The noise is intense as the water crashes into the rock wall in front of it, sending a mist into the air and making it rain on a clear mountain day. On a hot day, the cool mist feels most welcome. cool mist. But if you hang for extended photos, you might want to bring a raincoat. Duration: 4.6 km (2.9 miles) round trip

- Review from Tripadvisor
Sue took us up to the falls but also snuck in extra lookouts whenever she could including the gorgeous natural bridge outside emerald lake and emerald lake too. The small intimate group and Sue’s incredible knowledge made for an amazing day. Do not hesitate to take this tour it is well worth it!
