  Our tour ended up being a nice small group of 4. Vincent, our tour guide, was fantastic. He told us lots of stories and answered all of our questions and flexibly and expertly tailors our day so we got the most of it. The scenery was stunning. Lunch was amazing- I requested a vegan meal ahead of time and was served a tasty banquet!

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Awesome Day Trip from Taipei

  I had a great time on this excursion. The trip out from Taipei was itself quite a distance (over 4 hours round trip on the train to/from Taipei and Hualien), which made the tour (having everything managed and planned out) more appealing. Despite the long day, the trip was definitely worth it for me; the scenery in the park was amazing and awe inspiring. Vincent, the tour guide, was energetic, enthusiastic and full of knowledge. He has an interesting background as well - a former environmental engineer who grew up in the area and has a pretty impressive command of English for someone who independently learned from scratch at a relatively late age. I was also impressed by his strong voice, presence and clear diction. The lunch was a nice surprise. Seeing all of the massive tour buses in the parking lots also enhanced my appreciation for this small group experience.

• Perfect day out in nature at Taroko Gorge

  The Taroko gorge was stunning. We had a brilliant time. It was a bit warm and muggy but the stunning views made up for it. Our driver Vincent was fantastic. He had amazing knowledge of the place and made our day very enjoyable.

  This was a great trip to see the Taroko Gorge. The planned trip had to be rescheduled due to a typhoon, but it happened. Alex was a lively and informed guide who made the experince easy and enjoyable.

  Great clear communication, from the company, from the time of booking up until the day trip and the train tickets were dropped off at the hotel. Was promptly met by guide Ivan (at the Hualien train station) and had an excellent day exploring the local Coast line and National Park/Gorge. We visited all the key highlights (stunning landscape) of the National Park and enjoyed a scrumptious local lunch. Despite being a long day I highly recommend; if you do one day trip from Taipei - choose this one.

  We had an incredible tour of Taroko Gorge with the best tour guide Jason “Old J”. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect visit! Our guide picked us up promptly at the train and escorted us through the park all day, curating the tour to our interests. Highly recommend.
