  After reading reviews of this company we booked our tour. It was awesome.. Driver had very propesional knowledge about wildlife. He saw us lot of animals and birds. Managed to drive avoid other jeeps. We would recommend janaka safari.. Ishara was our driver

  The safari tour was amazing! We had an experienced and very polite driver who has good knowledge about wildlife .we saw very close leopard and lot of elephants also we managed to see almost every other animal! Would totally recommend for anyone ..

  We booked the janaka safari and it was a great and unique experience. Our driver Su did a great job in driving us around and finding the best spots for a high chance of seeing a lot of different animals. Also, he is very good connected to other guides in the park and has a lot of experience. Pick-up from the hotel, provisioning throughout the day and drop-off at the hotel all went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this safari!

  Our experience with Janaka Safaris was extraordinary! From start to finish, we were blown away by the abundance of wildlife in the park. We were incredibly fortunate to see leopards, elephants, and sloth bears, along with crocodiles, monkeys, mongoose, deer, water buffalo, and countless bird species. Our guide, Su, was exceptional. His knowledge of the park and its animals was unparalleled, and his deep understanding of animal behavior and body language set him apart. Unlike some other drivers we saw, Su was cautious and respectful, always ensuring we avoided dangerous situations while prioritizing the well-being of the animals. One of the best parts of the experience was Su’s flexibility. He gave us the option to either explore the park independently or stay in touch with the other jeeps. We highly recommend trusting Su’s expertise and going solo if you want to avoid the chaotic rush of jeeps trying to get a glimpse of animals. The solo approach allowed us to observe wildlife in a peaceful, natural way and leave the park feeling good about not causing unnecessary stress to the animals. The meals (breakfast and lunch) were delicious and you have time in the middle of the day to rest and have a bathroom break. The day ended with a magical sunset over the lake, where we debriefed and shared some final laughs - a perfect conclusion to an unforgettable experience. If you have the time, opt for the full-day safari. The extra time allows you to be patient, soak in the surroundings, and wait for the animals to come to you (if you are lucky).   Had such a wonderful time! Great Safari experience with my driver Su! Honestly, the best driver!! Made sure we were in the front of the line entering the park. Met wonderful people on the group safari. Highlight….seeing the beautiful leopard and ending the day with a gorgeous sunset!! Thank you Janaka safari for a memorable day.

  We spent an unforgettable day in Yala National Park. Our driver was great and explained a lot. We have seen elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, birds, bears and even 4 leopards. Attention was always paid to the welfare of the animals. Over all incredible paths the driver drove super safe, we felt very comfortable.

  We had an amazing time. We had a splendid driver, Ish, he’s awesome and made sure we were always at the front with a perfect view! Did his utmost to make our day a succes and it was. We saw two lepards, even one from just a meter away. Saw a bunch of elephants, spotted deer, wild pigs, beautiful birds and much more. Thx again Ish.

  We had a great safari with Su. We did the full day tour and saw elephants, leopards, buffalo among other things. He was very respectful of the animals and the park and this meant we saw a great deal. He provided breakfast and lunch which were great and was very knowledgeable. Thanks for making our first safari such a great day.
