Our Yala Safari experience begins with a convenient hotel pickup. After pickup, we will drive to Yala National Park, where you will enjoy an exciting safari experience through one of Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserves, known for its rich biodiversity and opportunities to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. At the end of the safari, you will be safely dropped back at your hotel.

5.00The off road jeep was a wild ride, be prepared to be jostled for the entire ride! The animal sightings were amazing. Our tour driver was amazing. He spotted so many animals we would have never caught on our own. We saw deer, buffalo, iguanas, peacocks and other beautiful birds; but the monkeys, elephants, and a sighting of the not often seen leopard was amazing!

4.00Indeed it is beautiful Nature park with different wildlife. We had the chance to see leopard, elephants, crocodiles etc... But the 4x4 drivers are a little crazy. Race to get there on the 1st... when we're all at it at the same time... take risks to double... and finish queuing up like a Monday morning back at work in traffic jams. Too bad!

5.00Our Yala Safari experience with ASY Tours was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we were picked up by our driver, Sanka, we knew we were in good hands. Sanka's expertise and passion for wildlife were evident throughout the safari. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals and made sure we didn’t miss any of the park’s highlights. We were lucky enough to see a leopard, elephants, and a variety of birds up close. Sanka's knowledge about the animals and their habitats added so much value to the trip. This safari was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. A big thank you to ASY Tours and Sanka for an unforgettable adventure!

5.00Fabulous excursion! Our guide had eagle eyes and was able to point out creatures we certainly would have missed! After booking, the company contacted me and we were able to set up an earlier meeting time that matched the ship's arrival in order to give us more Safari time. The guide was super easy to spot, and he had us back to the ship right on time.
An incredible Safari experience from Yala Gate 1

5.00We visited Yala National Park from Gate 1 for just a little over two hours with a private tour driver and had one of the most memorable Safari experiences ever. We've been to Safaris in South Africa and Kenya but Yala made it's mark with the number of sightings and a variety of animals spotted in such a short time. Perhaps we were just plain lucky that day. Our driver's name was Ruwan and he was a bit of a rally driver too, racing past other Safari offroaders whilst he kept telling us that he knows the spot where the Leopard is at present. And guess what? He was spot on right! We not only viewed a Jackal, a wild Boar, wild Buffaloes, Stork, small Crocodiles, Deers, Mongoose, several Peacocks (in their brightest of colours), Ceylon junglefowl (the National bird) of Sri Lanka, but we also spotted a Leopord in the tree that subsequently crossed the muddy road, walked along it, and finally preyed on a Rabbit that we spotted a bit earlier. It was an incredible experience. The driver then rode us back to the Yala National Park gate, which closes at 6pm, and back to our glamours campsite.
