FIVE GOOD REASONS TO TAKE OUR ART DECO WALKING TOUR:
1. Our tour guides use the architecture of the buildings to tell the story of Miami Beach and its people.
2. Tour proceeds benefit our non-profit mission of promoting, preserving, and protecting the Miami Beach Art Deco Historic District.

The Official Art Deco Gift Shop
Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

5.00Really informative, learned tons about the history and architecture of Miami Beach! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. Not an overwhelming amount of walking with plenty of stops :)
Miami Beach should only hire guides who love this state and love this city

3.00We met at the visitors center and it started with our guide Mark Harkin setting the table on what was to come on our 2 hour tour. We saw the Ocean Blvd hot spots in the art deco walking tour as Mark read his notes on his cell phone the information for each stop. Sadly, he is a snow bird who should have stayed in NY. Clearly he hates the current governor and has a bad case of TDS as he brought them up at least 7 times during our tour. This your company should only hire guides who love this state, this area, and Miami Beach. Clearly Mark does not.

5.00Our guide Julie was a walking encyclopedia of the history of Miami Beach and Art Deco. She was so engaging! Both my husband and I loved it. Thank goodness for the Miami Design Preservation League who saved the beauty and uniqueness of Miami Beach.

5.00Our guide, Janinha Piazzetta, our guide was amazing! She had a fantastic knowledge of the art deco style, as well as the history of Miami Beach. Her enthusiasm and love for the city were addictive! Janinha was very kind and accommodating to people in the group that had some walking issues, and gave us from her own time when she felt she wanted to add more to our experience. We highly recommend Janinha Piazzetta to guide this tour!!!
