  My friend & I came to Cartagena to celebrate our birthdays. We had the BEST time on this excursion. Benjamen was the best tour guide & was so friendly & helpful on each island. Whether it was translating for us, having fun with us or just having conversations about Columbia, we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. I highly recommend this excursion!

  We booked the 3 island party tour, which is advertised as a speedboat tour with 3 x 2 hour stops in different places ending at Cholon. This is not what was provided. Very Inefficient start to the day, and we only finally got on to the water 90 minutes after the tour start time, we were hanging around for ages waiting for our speedboat and then they announced it was going to be a catamaran instead. The guides made us form queues but then boarded the boat from a random spot in the middle of the queue, the whole process was very frustrating/disorganized. When we finally got on board this other boat they said we were getting a ‘VIP experience’, but what this actually meant was they were cutting out 2 stops and bringing us straight to Cholon. They did a drive by of a fort and a beach and paused the boat momentarily, the guides later claimed that these 2 second pauses were the other stops - which is totally false, as were miles out to sea - and werent allowed get off the boat. I spoke to one guide directly to express our disappointment that we werent getting to do all the stops we had booked. He said that this was ‘a new thing they were trying today’ but from reading the other comments that doesnt seem true. That same guide approached me a few minutes later to assure me that after Cholon we would be stopping at Playa Blanca and allowed to leave the boat - this was a complete lie. After cholon the boat just went straight back to cartagena. so Essentially this tour was a Visit Cholon Tour. Really disappointing that we werent given the option to do the the speedboat tour which we had booked, if theres a major change like that guests should be given the option for a refund or at least a reschedule to a different date. The lying from the guide was totally unacceptable and added to the frustration of the whole thing. For balance, i will say that the guides managed the group on Cholon well with the groups dedicated waiter to avoid scams - this is why ive given an extra star. And cholon itself was an enjoyable experience

• Perfect Day at the Rosario Islands — Amazing Team and Experience!

  Anna, our guide, and the boat team were absolutely amazing. Super friendly, organized, and made the whole day fun and easy. The Rosario Islands themselves were stunning — we had perfect weather, beautiful beaches, and fantastic service all day. The lunch was great (fresh and tasty!), and the entire experience was truly worth every penny for the value you get. One thing to note: the boat ride back can be very choppy due to the afternoon winds, and you will get wet. If you’re sensitive to motion sickness, it’s something to keep in mind — but overall, it’s absolutely manageable and totally worth it. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun, well-run day out in paradise!

  It started off great until it wasn’t. I had to pay extra for a lunch that was already included with my reservation. Then, on the last two stops, the tour managers of the stops charged extra gratuities on top of what I gave.
