David was our tour guide. He did a fantastic job showing us around. Meeting the locals in the town. I loved the boxing, the dance at the school, the food at the town restaurant and the friendliness of the locals. Would highly recommend.

I returned to Cartagena specifically to experience Palenque and it was worth it. I learned about a different part of Colombia that has a huge impact on Afro-Colombianos. The experience was amazing. I enjoyed learning about the history and culture of Palenque. David was an awesome guide that translated and taught us/ the group frases of Palenquero. It was interesting to visit this town and acquire knowledge about its rich history and how the town was named Palenque and its significance, along with the people that were important and their influence. It was great and I highly recommend it.

This was an awesome excursions very informative. Guides were the best. They were courteous and translated to English for those of us that did not speak Spanish. I give this tour a 20 out of 10. Thank you for the experience.

The trip to Palenque was an amazing experience, I would recommend a pickup in front of Plaza de Reloj in staying in Cartegena. We met many wonderful people in the tour. The trip takes about 2 to 3 hours from Cartagena. The village is a traditional African village which preserved it's heritage. We got to learn about the traditional Palenque language. We had gotten to meet a traditional doctor in the village whose 72 years old in excellent health whose age could have been mistaken for 40. Afterwards we got to see a dance performance at a school. The trip included a visit to a place with traditional African instruments where we all got to meet a member of the band Kombilesa MI. The final stop before departing was a traditional lunch . Overall a good cultural and educational experience. Well worth a full day if you're visiting Cartagena

Very accommodating. Offered to pick us up from our hotel. Romeo was personable and entertaining. Every aspect of the trip was worthwhile. Left with a souvenir and lots of memories!
