Alex was a terrific tour guide & very knowledgeable & informative about the history of Crete. We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking experience.

We tried several times beforehand to contact the organizer to clarify two questions (among others about our arrival) and did not receive a reaction via any channel. Therefore we cancelled our four tickets two days before and booked an alternative event in the town itself. It's clearly too much money for it not to work. Maybe the event would have been nice, unfortunately we will not know.

Very nice, amazing stories, great food, and lovely hosts and driver, Alex! The views were wonderful and we got a extraordinary glimpse on the Cretan landscape.

We did the Cretan cooking class with GS Tours during our honeymoon in Crete and cannot recommend it enough! It was so much more than a cooking class - a history lesson, a farm tour, meeting some adorable sheep, and of course eating the delicious food we made together! Maria and Alex were knowledgeable and delightful.

MUST DO! This is a unique expérience, unique setting, Yannis our driver and also the sous-chef with Miss « Diamond « the chef were absolutly amazing and funny, the history of the land and its people was very touching, Yannis is an amazing story teller💖 We got to visit the site and feed the sheeps, the view is out of this world!! The Cooking class was just so much fun, meet people from all over the world, we got the recepies also on the spot by email, and cooking tips like for example when miss Diamond the chef says you put « about 2 or 3 drops of olive oil » she actually means 1/3 of the bottle!!! 😂😂 What a night! If Youre in Crete, this is the vip expérience to live🫶 Thank you so much for having us my sister Lise and myself Nicole from Montréal , we are happy you enjoyed the Maple sirup we brought you! Yamas!!🫶from🇨🇦

Our travel agent booked this for my siblings and I and it turned out to be the best day of our trip. I was a little leery of the length of the tour but by the end, we didn't want to leave. The venue was spectacular and our hosts were so gracious to let us into their family's home. Their instructions made us all feel like gourmet chefs, even those who had never cooked before. We went on to wine tasting while our food was cooking and that didn't disappoint either. We were also allowed to feed their goats, which as animal lovers, we delighted in. Then it came time to savoring the food. Oh my word, it was delicious. My mouth is watering right now remembering it.

Wonderful, traditional experience! We made all our favorites from stuffed tomatoes, peppers... and something new...zucchini! Tirapita, spinakapita and so much more! I would recommend this tour for everyone wanting something beyond the touristy places.
