This relaxed walking tour is designed to entertain and inform. There will be plenty of opportunities for photographs and test your tour guide's knowledge (as he will test yours!). The route follows Torquay's beautiful sea front, past locations that Agatha would have known well and influenced her writing, such as The Pavilion, the Princess Pier and Torre Abbey. We also stop at Agatha's bust and her new memorial seat. Whether you're young or old, a super fan or simply have a passing interest in Agatha, you won't fail be to impressed by her achievements. She wrote The Mousetrap (the longest running play in the world); she's the most translated author; the world's greatest crime writer, who has sold 2 billions novels...and always wrote as a woman - quite extraordinary!

5.00Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Very informative and lots of interesting facts and information provided. Our tour lasted nearly 3 hours but done at a steady pace to suit everyone. Lots of interactions with the group and made to feel like you were just chatting with friends. Excellent value for money in my opinion. Will definitely look at other tours when next in Torquay.

5.00Did an Agatha Christie walking tour of Torquay with Graham, very friendly and knowledgeable on all matters plus history of the local area, started the 3 hr walking tour at the new Agatha Christie bench with photos and then off we went. Easy to find outside the Toursit information office, parking nearby and plenty of cafes locally

5.00Graham is a fantastic guide who knows everything there’s to know about Agatha Christie and the ABC of her life. Along the way, we also discover Torquay, and, like a real-life Poirot, he connects it all with literature and history. He’s as funny as he is knowledgeable — it’s Fun under the sun, minus the blood and murders. Absolutely don’t miss it!
