  Honestly the trip was great! To start off I was picked up from my hotel at 5am. Although it’s early the tour bus was nice and comfy for a nap on the way there. I was fortunate enough to be staying at a hotel that was a pick up location. If your hotel isn’t a pick up location. You just have to meet them at one of the locations. Which you should look at before you book anyway! After being picked up at 5 AM we took about a 2 Hour drive to a breakfast location. The location was closer to the beach so the drive from breakfast to the dock where the boat is located was about 45 minutes maybe even less I took a nap. breakfast wasn’t included but for two full plates of food I paid US$30 which wasn’t bad to me. They were also souvenir shops that you could purchase beach towels or a beach bag from if you didn’t bring your own. If you do not want to spend extra money, make sure you pack all your necessities for a beach day. Once we got to the boat, there were life best and snorkeling gear provided for us. You do not have to snorkel if you don’t want to, but I think it was a fun experience. The boat ride from the dock to La Tortuga was about 45/50 minutes. You learn about the surrounding islands on the way there the tour guide speaks both English and Spanish to accommodate everybody. You spend about five hours at La Trotuga. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Lunch is included. You either get chicken or fried fish with rice, potatoes and salad and it was pretty good. There’s also a bar there that you can purchase drinks from in other activities as well if you wanted to explore the island in the five hours that you are there. The same way you got there is the same way you get back and they drop you off at the same location that they picked you up from. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and it was my birthday. Our tour guide name was memo and he was amazing.!!

  The trip was okay overall, but nothing special. We spent around 4.5 hours on the island. Snorkeling was about 30 minutes near the beach. Visibility was poor, and there were not many specifies of fishes, so the snorkeling experience was just average. The return trip to San José felt very long. Traffic made it worse, and it was tiring after a full day. The sad part is that there were no toilet stops during the nearly 3-hour drive back, which made the return journey uncomfortable. There were dolphins visible from a distance on both the way to and from the island. The boat did not stop or try to get closer, so we could not see them properly. Dolphin sightings were mentioned in the trip description, but there was no effort to show them, which was disappointing. One serious issue was how wet clothes and belongings were handled. We were told to store wet items under the bus on the return. Due to strict rules, and rush during drop-offs, another group accidentally took our bag. When we reported this, the company was careless and unhelpful, showing no real initiative to resolve the situation. Our guide Percy was the only bright spot. He went out of his way to track down the mix-up and helped us recover our belongings later. Without his effort, we likely would not have gotten our things back. Lunch was typical tour food and below average. Overall, this was an average trip. Percy did a good job coordinating and helping us, but the company itself was disappointing, especially in how they handled the belongings mix-up.

  Excellent experience, very friendly team, Gustavo too friendly and friendly. A lot of human warmth and organization. My only recommendation would be to enable more showers.

  The whole trip was enjoyable as our guide explained everything at each stage with good humour and local knowledge. Breakfast and the lunch exceeded expectations. We saw caiman and dolphins on the boat journey and a variety of different fish when snorkeling. We had plenty of time on the island to explore. Felt it was good value and a great experience.

  Looking for a beautiful day on a beach? Look no further. This is a long ng day. I was picked up at 5am and back by 7pm. It was worth it! The guides were informative, entertaining, and there was many activities to pay for.

  This is a great tour I gave 5 star because Memo our tour guide was very cool and nice! He explained everything and reminded us of the different activities and things on the tour.

  Such an amazing experience! Memo, our tour guide was such a pleasure to be around. He was super fun and so helpful. I’d definitely recommend this tour.
