  This tour was a great value overall! We spent 5 hours on Isla Tortuga, and saw a ton of wildlife. The speed boat ride to the island stopped twice to view wildlife in the water, once for a few bottlenose dolphins and once for a mom & calf humpback whale. We saw a variety of tropical fish when snorkeling. When on the island itself we saw wild pigs, deer, many birds, iguanas and lizards. We even saw a peacock wandering through, although I don’t believe that those are native to the area. The included lunch was delicious, and the breakfast spot we stopped at wasn’t included in the tour price, but was very affordable. Important to know: Pick-up was early at 5 am for us, or as early as 4:30 am for some of the pick-up spots. We didn’t find out our exact pick-up time until around 6:30 pm the evening before so we had to schedule transportation to the pick-up spot on short notice and it was earlier than the expected 6:30 start of the tour. The restrooms on the island itself are available for a small fee, approximately $1 us or 600 colon. There is also a gift shop available on the island where you can purchase things that you may have forgotten, and a shop attached to the breakfast stop for purchases.

  We visited Isla Tortuga, in Costa Rica, “Inside Tours Costa Rica” to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and my aunt’s 60th birthday. We were a group of 15 people. The island is beautiful and the tour itself was very nice. The guide was professional and friendly throughout the experience. Unfortunately, our experience changed because of the bus driver. Four people in our group felt sick after the celebration and two were vomiting. Even though we had three senior citizens over 70 and one person with a disability in our group, the driver refused to take us back and left us at the port without transportation, and a dangerous place. The driver was very rude and showed no humanity or compassion. We had to pay for additional transportation to return to San José. It was a very disappointing and upsetting situation, especially since the company claims they take care of their tourists. It’s a shame because the destination is beautiful, but the driver’s behavior completely ruined our experience.

  We saw a crocodile, a family of dolphin, many tropical fishes at snorkeling. Laying down on beach and relaxing for a few hours. Not bad

  Very bad hygiene with the tuppers in which they bring the food as are the cookies, they offer you “seasonal fruit” and very uncomfortable only let you take a small flock in my case touched pineapple and watermelon, being a tour of more than 80 people, everything they do in a hurry without genuine interest because you have a good tour, they are only responsible for fulfilling. I wouldn't take it again.

  The trip is very nice even though it is far from San Jose there is time to enjoy on the beach and hike to the viewpoint for an additional cost

  Fun time at the beach and snorkeling. The beach location is very scenic with small mountains around the bay. There were plenty of fish to see snorkeling, note it is not a reef

  This tour was pretty fun and worth it for sure. Our tour guide name was Memo he was super nice and helpful. My mom used a cane and he went above and beyond to help her not feel excluded. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. This tour is great you get to see a lot of views on the way the breakfast and lunch was pretty good. The bus was perfect for a long drive seening all the great views of Costa Rica then being able to relax and take a nap perfect. Also an another special shout out to MEMO I had left my phone on the island and he had the boat turn around and he ran to grab it for me thanks again!

  The overall Island and experience were okay, but this tour company definitely needs to improve its service and how it plans and executes these tours. The AC on the bus was excruciatingly cold, and when some of my fellow passengers asked for it to be turned down, they said it's automatic, and they can't control it. It made the long trip to the docks, and especially the trip back to San Jose after getting soaked on the speed boat, absolutely unbearable. The food served was not very good, and everything on the island, including the restrooms, had to pay for separately. They also were very weird about us having to put our bags in the luggage hold of the bus on the way back, and when I asked for my bag to get my phone charger and laptop, I was given a lot of attitude and trouble for something that was a non-issue. The breakfast stop in the morning was also way too long, and cut into the time we actually had on the island. The speedboat ride to the Island was fine and fun, but the ride on the way back was awful, as the water was very choppy. It's a long ride on the speedboat, so if you have any leg or back issues, I would not recommend booking this tour. Overall, glad I did it, just wish I had gone with a different tour company so I would have had a better experience.

  Excellent personable staff, so meticulous on all details of the trip. Luis was exceptionally outstanding. I wanted to tip him & the driver but had no cash to do. Rough boat ride coming & going but that just added to the adventure. I was so relaxed. Staff extremely cautious about choppiness of the ocean.Sunday afternoon crowd kept it Pura Vida. We were all taken care of & kept well informed about the itinerary
